Very comfortable and the room is very clean. We really enjoy our stay here. Great location as it has McDonald at the side and the bus stop to city centre is only 5 minutes walk. Will definitely stay in again.

Convenient airport hotel with free 1/2 hourly airport shuttle. The hotel room clean and it is well sound proofed from the passing aeroplane. The other downside is the soft bed which is not my personal preference and the small shuttle bus at some time interval. It only carry 10 passengers and I encounter some situations where passengers have to wait for the next run which may be full again if you are not waiting in front of the bus.

We stayed for three nights for over $630, and upon check-in, we were met with a shocking lack of cleanliness. The room was not even properly cleaned, and we found rectal medicine casings scattered around. The floor was filthy, and the shower was covered in stains on both the walls and the floor. To make matters worse, no body towels were provided until we complained. The only amenities offered were soap, body and hair washing gel, and not even a toothbrush! During our entire three-day stay, only one cleaning was done after we made a complaint, and even then, the housekeeper failed to clean the dirty spot. I will never choose this hotel again, nor should you. Terrible experience!

Everything is great except for the shuttle airport buses and vans. The driver are doing their best but not enough airport shuttle. Need to improve on that

We had booked and paid for breakfast for 4 days. But on the last day we were not allowed to have the breakfast. The official breakfast timing was 6 am to 10 am. And we came at 6:25 am. The receptionist kept saying that we cant have it before 6:30am. We couldn’t wait as we had a flight to catch. But the receptionist was apathetic towards us. Despite breakfast being ready we were not allowed to have. They have not refunded the money for that days breakfast for two people to us .

The hotel was easy to reach. I have been using the hotel for many times mow, just because of the price and good location. However every time there is an issue with checking in/out. I always reserve the upgraded room type, and every time they are trying to give you the basic room. This is a big Disadvantage and frustrating. This morning my car did not start so I had to call a road service, which would take some time. I advised the frontoffice about the issue and advised that I could take some time before they would come. In the meantime I informed them that I would  leave and be back. Again a very unfriendly/willing front desk.

I strongly suggest not going to this hotel as it is not worth it. They took out more money from my bank account as a deposit and never returned it to me. There is no way that you can chase it up as they won't answer or you hear that you need to wait. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL PLEASE

Stopped at Bastion at the end of September and saw people being redirected from the one entrance to another. It was my turn to me redirected this time. Only a minor inconvenience as all other aspects were good. It would be nicer if the standard checkout was at 12pm rather than 11am. I'd definitely stay here again.

Good for a night layover. Free shuttle bus to/from Airport. Clean rooms.

Good choice to stay @ this hotel, near from airport and small beautiful city

Terrible experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Got yelled at and kicked out of the gym by a MAINTENANCE guy, the receptionists/ hosts were mocking guests out loud and would laugh, least they would do is working, the night receptionist didn’t help at all with the problem that occurred at the gym and managed 0 and were giggling and I got woken up at 9 am by a drill in the wall that didn’t stop until 10 . It’s like a ratchet hotel without any type of management , YOU CAN EASILY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR THE SAME PRICE!

On the morning of July 2nd, I paid the city tax, but the waiter did not enter it into the system and still took my money.

I think the overall trip to the Bastion Hotel was decent. The location was really convenient if you're looking for somewhere near the airport, especially for a short stay. The shuttle bus from the airport was on time and had great service. Cleanliness was good, with a bit of dust, but overall, it was great with standards. Still, I would say that the facilities will need checking due to the lack of refurbishment; some lights in the room were flashing, and the shower overflowed with water because the drain wasn't working.
