Great location, friendly staff with fluent English and Chinese! I enjoyed its vicinity to Causeway Bay, and the tram stop right infront of the hotel—makes for a quick and easy way to get to Central!

It’s just a good place to stay at during your trip, if you’re spending most of your time out, and you need a bed to just sleep. Also, the walls are so thin, that you’ll probably need earplugs to have a good rest. But it’s Hong Kong, what else would you expect? Other than that our room was clean, the air conditioning was working well. The sockets aren’t equipped with adapters, make sure to bring your own.

I am staying in that hotel often since 2012. Before was named Bonaparte Hotel by Rombus, later renamed to Minimal Hotel and now J link. Rooms are small like in all hotels in HK. If you travel alone better book twin beds to organize your things. It has hair dryer and fast WiFi. Western fast food is close to hotel. And the Tram. Wanchai HKTDC is just 15 minutes walking .

In general the environment is good and has improvements like the outfit. It is great if they can do some refurbishment. The only bad experience is that somebody was doing the vacuum cleaning at 9:00am in the morning. At the same time, can here the water flowing though the pipe tube. It would be great if they can do some improvement in these.

I booked a room for my nieces and Can’t say anything good😩 starts with the receptionist who is not so friendly at all! They are too strict that i cant even send my nieces to their room and make sure that they are in good place. But then i understand that is their policy. I ask my nieces on how was the room and says the room just fine for a bed and they wasn’t able to use the water heater😅 is it because my 25 years old niece doesn’t know how to use the water heater🤣🤣🤣 anyway, it was enough for a not so nice experience, at least i know that will be the last time i will book for that hotel. That was just our experience in that hotel, maybe others had  a better stay in there.

Hotel doesn’t provide anything. Towel old and broken. Said it will be replaced and I should stay in room until someone come and repair in bathroom. See the pictures

Great value; very clean and self contained unit considering the price point. My only complaint was the relatively thin wall and I was disturbed by the fellow next door who was loud and exuberant all night.

The rooms are so dirty especially the shower room and the frontliners are quiet strict of check in time,even 4 star hotel give my room 45 mins earlier if there’s room available,only 1 lift is working so meaning you need ro wait for longer time🥱🥱

Good condition and services Very clean and comfortable and high efficient for special orders Easy transportation for MTR, tunnel bus, So many Shopping centres and food centers Air conditioner is new and no place mat, become very clean. But the blanket is very old and little, not big and warm enough. The wash and both liquid are supplied . Very good offering

This hotel is good value on the surface. But I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me. The room is a decent size. The room facilities are basic, but clean. Sink in the room which is handy. However, the staff needs serious professional training! The attitude of the staff was terrible! They talk to you like you owe them money! I had an issue where I booked with my first and last name but omitted my middle name. That's very common in the west. Had NO issues with every hotel I stayed in whatsoever, except for this one. The guy on night duty reception wouldn't let me check in as a result of omitting my middle name. I had to argue with him until my face was blue before he reluctantly called his manager. Then he muttered something about Chinese people don't omit their middle name, as if I was some kind of weirdo. How condescending! What kind of service is that?! He should work in a rude Chinese noodle cafe, not in a hotel. Then the younger girl was no better. There was no smile from either one of them. Just frowns! No 'sorry to keep you waiting,' no 'let me look into it'. She talked to me like I was on my first day on the job in an HR department. I don't care what star this hotel is! Please train your staff to be more professional and hospitable to paying customers, otherwise work somewhere else! They must be the rudest hotel staff I've ever encountered. Management, get your act together and train your staff!!!!! These kinds of staff are the kind that give Hong Kong service industry a really bad name!
