Very bad experience staying in this hotel. Given a 2nd floor room where wall are moldy and aircon is basically not working. Requested for a change of room because of aircon malfunction and was asked to pay an additional HKD200 to be move into a good room. Although changed to a new room at higher floor with working aircon, the room is pretty simple and the mattress is very uneven with part of the mattress bulging out. Basic Cleanliness is also a problem with cockroaches roaming in the bath tub, I had attached a photo.
On the plus side, I will have to say the location is superb and also I have to praise the housekeeper with an excellent attitude assisting me with the change of room and apologized to me when he wasn’t able to get his manager to waive the additional HKD200 charges for change to a functional room.
This is my first time booking thru trip.com and I suggest trip.com to perform due diligence on hotels on the listing, offering malfunction rooms is bad enough and making one to pay extra to move to a functional room is rather unethical in my view. Definitely not a value for monies deal.
