Great location and very central. The room will be a bit of a squeeze for two people with large suitcases however. It's sorta like those rooms in Japan. Cleanliness was good, water pressure good, breakfast each morning delivered to your room is such a great idea and it's a good start to the day. The staff are good. A man in particular was so nice, helpful and welcoming. The girl who checked me in was nice but I think she needs to be a bit less sassy. Otherwise all is good and I will stay again. Thank you

Small, cozy room. Near Metro, bus to the airport and port, where ferries from Macao come. Breakfast is brought in the morning:2 croissants , coffee or tea and banana. You need to order breakfast on the previous day.

It was good for quick visit.

Sohotel is in the heart of central- it was a short 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal with all my favourite bars within 15 minutes from the hotel. The staff were fantastic and the room was clean and well stocked. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located in Sheung Wan and therefore quite convenient. MRT station is close by and all the shops and restaurants are easily accessible. The amenities and services are basic. Drinking water must be purchased; so must disposable items such as razors. If you don’t expect much from your stay except a place to sleep in then this is an okay hotel.

Was convenient and a good hotel for a busy city break. Clean and service was polite and accommodating.

Excellent location, front desk male staff was very polite and friendly, carpet a bit dirty and there were hairs, room small, funky smell in the bathroom. Bed was comfy. Hotel was quiet. Overall not bad but I wouldn't say top notch. For the price it's ok.

Nice location and kind staff. Rooms are Hong Kong style small. So this is ok option for day or two work trip.

For central part of HK was the best one I stayed for all my previous trips. Staff is perfect and polite. Room is clean. Bed is comforable.

Went for short trip to Hong Kong in Feb.The weather is nice and cool.Stayed in Sohotel at sheng wen.Hotel is located near MTR The hotel was nice and clean.The staff was very helpful.The hotel service was fantastic and simple breakfast was given daily. Many shopping nearby and nice bakery.Very conveniently located.

The hotel does NOT do a very good job at advertising at advance what kind of breakfast it serves, as included in the room fee. It is essentially just a bun, a banana and a drink. If you are looking for a substantial breakfast buffet, this hotel WILL BE a disappointment as there is NO restaurant in the hotel. They serve the "breakfast" to the room on a small tray. Otherwise good service, good location and good value for money.

If you are traveling alone, Sohotel is a good choice for simple resting place as you scouting in the HK island. It’s quite centrally located with public transports accessible.

Sohotel has in its location its major and probably only strong point. The hotel is located at a walking distance of all major locations around Central HK and that was the only reason that took me to choose it. The staff is nice but the hotel is really small and with very short amenities. If it was a hotel in the range of 700-800hkd it would be acceptable but prices charged are more than double of this so, I can say that although the choice was a conscientious one it feels like we are being deceived. Additionally I was unlucky to have fell in a room where was not possible to rest all night as next door was occupied by what seemed like a porn live streamer that spent all night moaning and screaming but that’s just unlucky not a hotel problem. Bed is comfortable.
