Urbanwood Ap Lei Chau

Cleaning can be improved, its an old building with humidity. It was the Cheapest option in Hong Kong for us, so for this price it was alright. I personally liked the Breakfast box with salmon.

Excellent hotel for its price. Probably the best for this money in Hong Kong. Daily cleaning, good coffee and tea in the room. On the 7th floor you can get drinking water for free and heat up/cook something to eat. It is located far from the center, but the metro is nearby and you can quickly get to almost any point in the city. There are also a couple of inexpensive (again, by Hong Kong standards) good cafes, ATM and 7-11 nearby. The room was in good condition with a good view. Breakfasts are modest, but they bring it right to the room upon call. Upon check-in they ask for a deposit of 500 HKD. I can recommend this hotel!

This was our first experience of traveling to Hong Kong. I found this hotel through Trip.com and was afraid that my expectations would not be met. But the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly, attentive and professional. The room was excellent with a magnificent view of the city and the sea with the pier. Everything that the hotel stated was present. We stayed for two nights and the next day they changed our towels, napkins, toilet paper, tea, coffee and cleaned the room. The room is not big, but very cozy. Our family of 4 felt very comfortable. Thank you very much to the staff and next time we will stay only there.

Booked 4D3N here for family of 12. We got the Family Superior room. Clean rooms, Polite and approachable staffs. Good window view, quiet place. Provided water and tea. Washroom with body wash and shampoo. 7th floor, have a kitchen where you can reheat your food, refill your water, read and dine. Location: Approx 200m from Lei Tung MTR South line Exit A. 118 hkd taxi from Central. 7/11 and Circle K convenience store nearby and local restaurants for food option. The have Bonzai restaurant as well in the same building. Only 1 elevator upto 28th floor and bit compact, challenging for those with big luggages, needs to queue and wait. Breakfast serves late at 8am, not appropriate for those with early booking for tours and activities. Its the same food everyday, no variations Daily room cleaning and changing of towels. They forgot to clean the dust in the window and bed overboard.

I had a room with a good size, good aircon and electric curtains, open view of the Apleichau island , very friendly service ( staff refused any tipping for bringing luggage to the room) and helped me retain my Taobao and SF Express delivered goods. The best is a sun filled and spacious lounge on 7/F with simple cooking facilities and several tables and chairs . I asked my friends to come after a sumptuous seafood dinner on the island and cut a birthday cake in the Lounge. Everyone was so happy. I also managed to check out one hour later on my departure day to have a quick shower and shampoo. Staff then helped me called a taxi. Super happy stay and cannot recommend more !

Housekeeping doesn’t remake the room if you stay more that 1 night, they jz top uo the amenity, doesn’t care about the bed. ( see below image, this is what you have after housekeeping done their work)  Only one lift in the building, you may take some times to wait for it.
