My recent stay at this hotel was outstanding, combining top-notch hospitality, innovative room design, and a welcoming vibe. It’s a perfect pick for a special occasion or a relaxing escape. The staff’s friendliness was remarkable. The receptionist safely held a bouquet I ordered online and enthusiastically helped plan a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. When I needed a vase, they delivered one promptly. After checkout, they found my forgotten charger and kept it until I returned. Every interaction was warm and attentive, making me feel truly valued. The room’s unique one-way layout, flowing from living room to bedroom to bathroom, was one of the most creative I’ve seen. It felt spacious and stylish, with a cozy living area and a comfortable bedroom. The bathroom’s huge, spotless bathtub was a highlight, perfect for a relaxing soak. The hotel was impeccably clean and inviting, from the pristine room to the well-kept common areas. This attention to hygiene and warmth created a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Overall, this hotel delivered an unforgettable experience with its friendly staff, innovative design, and hygienic environment. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay!

Location is unbeatable if you want to stay in the Central vicinity. But the rooms don't look as nice as they are portrayed in the pictures but still ok for a short stay.

Always love to stay here. Very quite and beautiful but at the same time at the heart of Sheung Wan. The staff is incredible, so friendly and helpful all the time. Favorite place to stay in HK.

The location in Central meant that the hotel was well connected to everything I needed, with only a little walk to the areas of interest. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, and I felt very well looked after. The room was cozy and very clean. The towels felt very soft. The TV was responsive. The view and the electric blinds/curtains were very convenient. My only gripe is a minor one; the buttons for the windows are not bedside, so in the morning you'll have to get up to open them. That's only a problem for lazy people like myself though. Overall, I highly recommend it if anyone is looking for a convenient stay on the island.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed and served by the team. The room was large comparing with others in the same area, layout and amenities was perfect for preparation of simple meals for the little one. Location is ultra convenient with plenty of local (casual dining) and fine dining restaurants around, major shopping centres are also a stone’s throw away. All in all an excellent choice for a no frills hotel and great deal at this price point (by HK standards).

Had a wonderful time at the Putman. There are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity although the hotel itself is not easy to locate because it does not have a big sign at the door. There was no one at the reception - had to buzz the bell several times to get in, which is a little inconvenient. Cathy at check-in was great though and gave me a detailed room tour. I requested extra pillows and duvets and towels - everything was there. The room is spacious and bright will full-length windows, a kitchen, a huge bathtub, rain shower, coffee machine, blinds and lights that are remote-controlled (would appreciate a bedside control panel rather than wall control panel). Some windows that can open (a little) etc. The only problems were that the knobs in the tub and shower are quite slippery and thus hard to get a hold of when wet; would also appreciate it if the bathroom and toilet doors aren't made of glass (for added privacy). Also, there was not enough shower gel in the bottles. Unfortunately, we only spent a night there and had no chance to cook. Overall, had a great time.

The staff at this hotel are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. 🥹 The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown!!! Overall, I had a great experience with the hotel, ***staff was incredibly helpful,*** and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to stay.

The room was super comfy, all details were very precise and the the receptionist Katie was very hospitable

we checked in at late night and the service was nice and friendly. The room was nice as descripted in the booking. Water filtering machine was provided for drinking water. The toiletries were sufficient. The room was well equipped and it would be great if we could do cooking. but tableware might be self-prepared.
