It's the worst! We arrived there from Macau(Just finished our shift) and asked the old man who is the receptionist that day to confirm everything asap.. I even offered a help showed all the passport and the confirmation receipt that all the letters are the same as he is having a hard time reading alphabet. First, he asked us to go with him on their pharmacy because our rooms are not yet ready. While waiting there he show up there again to confirm our names and ID's then after 30 minutes or more.. he asked us to go up to show our rooms in different floors!! But.. he repeatedly check our ID's, passport and receipt again.. took a photos over and over again together with the 100HKD. Lastly, This old man left our friend on their official floor and bring us (My bf & I) to a different room (it's a family room with a double deck bed and a king size bed) that is very very dirty, and has a small bathroom with a leakage on the door.. can't every walk 2 steps and worst the room has a bad smell and we realize that our room is near at the garbage area of the hotel! 🤬🤬🤬 As I can speak Cantonese I still politely asked the old man if we can use the bed as it is.. the bed has 3 pieces single bed combined and he still remove the one single bed so our bed will just a double bed but he said no. I asked if we can have a towel because I expected that they have but he said okay but we just waited for nothing. Worst!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

good location, clean room, friendly service!!

The Golden Hotel is located in a great area in walking distance from both Prince Edward and Mong Kok subway stations. The room is a bit small, but I am traveling alone and for the price it's great. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom is a bit on the small side but had fully functioning utilities so no complaints there. I stayed for about 2 weeks, service was great, changed the trash every day and changed my sheets and pillowcases. The owner is very helpful and gave me his contact information if I had any questions since most of the staff don't speak English. The owner also helped me with an outlet adapter. I didn't know Hong Kong had different outlets than Mainland China, so when I asked about how to get one, he provided me with an adapter free of charge and told me just to return it when I check-out. This has been a very pleasant experience.

Although I faced some problem, the staff is so friendly and supportive. He helped me to solve the problems. Oh thank you thank you so everything went well during the stay.

Golden hotel is located on downtown area. Golden hotel has nice rooms.

In view of price, it is acceptable. But we are not expecting its name as hotel to be a divided flat in a floor of old commercial residential building in the hard of town,

convinient ,clean i can invite frinds to book her i rilly much enjoy...see u nxt ...

I am disappointed on how the lady approaches us during our check in. The lady was too rude., I know/understand if she does not know how to speak English, even if I tried to use google translate, she didn't listen or mind us. Luckily there is a Chinese guest who is also going to check in and know how to speak English and tell us what to do next. After check in everything is going smoothly and we enjoy our stay there.

got lucky to get a room with windows on the 2nd floor. With windows opened there’s a bit of noise from the street but surprisingly i had a very good sleep till my son facetime me at 7am. You can’t beat the price and the cleanliness of the pillow and blankets. there’s a lot self service laundry washers and dryers within the building so this is a great place for longer stays. PS ratings are based on the price range of these hotel rooms.

The double room I got has no window, is double by combining two single beds of different length. Though the room has no window, there is some hole on the ceiling that will continuously shout out loud outside noise, cars, ambulances, winds and whatever noise you can image. In addition, the fan and air conditioner are super loud when working, luckily I visited HK in a season not much replying on the air conditioner. I reflected this issue to the managers but no results. If you are noise sensitive in sleeping that might be an issue. The price is not high in terms of HK accommodation but everything is intolerable but the location, though the public transportation including mtr is already cheap and fantastic.

They have very nice room its clean but the service is not good who cannot speak in chinese guest.

This guest house is full of disappointments for us!! No English language even basic words from front desk.!just like ok just put your language comprehension lol!!!😂upon checking in the blanket,pillows,and even the bed cover was so dirty idk!!🤷🏼♀️(show photo below👇🏻)we stayed my sister for 7days actually 6days to be exact .the mainlanders guests are too loud like what the h*ll it’s 1am in the morning still talking very loud and no one at the front desk tell them that there’s other sleeping in front of there door😂SORRY!!! But I won’t book this guest house again!!!the bathroom ver dirty

Very good location, 100 m to Mongkok metro station ,bus stop near hotel, fast hotel service,super price at HongKong, very recommend !!!!
