Upon arriving we were welcomed by an accomodating receptionist guy who's good in giving instructions and addressing our needs. The buffet breakfast was good also since were vegetarian. Location is great. Most malls and MTR are connected by overpasses, making it very easy to get around even during rainy weather. Standard amenities are provided, hair conditioner not included. Only one sandblasted window in our room, so there wasn't really a view. Room was small compared to two other hotels in which we stayed during our trip. AC was sufficient, however air circulation was not for some reason. Even with a dehumidifier on (provided by the hotel) my hand-washed clothes would take longer than usual to dry. Aside from all of this, my biggest complaint was actually the room service. We forgot to put the DND tag on our door, which was partly our fault, but when they knocked on the door we insisted that we did not want room service. The lady was adamant about coming in and barged in when I was still in bed! On previous nights, we were also woken up several times by either the neighbours or the cleaning ladies, as the rooms were not very soundproof. Overall, unless I really want the convenience of everything nearby and within walking distance, I probably won't come here again.

Pros are convenient access to transportation MTR, bus stand and cleanliness of room…. Cons are, a super tiny room, congested washroom and they don’t even provide drinking water for guests, I mean that really unethical that you provide drinking water with charges🤨

The location of hotel is convenient, there are different kinds of restaurants nearby. Furthermore, different choices of  transportation are available around.  The room is clean, neat and tidy and hotel staff are helpful and friendly.

Good location. Room is small and no chairs provoded. Has an air purifier running giving out a whining background noise.

Hotel location is good and close to Tsuen Wan MTR station, just 5 minutes walk . The hotel room is not big but just enough for two. The shower room is small. TV set is a bit small and hang on the ceiling . Fair for this price.

The pics that I uploaded was before I checked out from this hotel. I love staying in this hotel it’s affordable and very clean. It’s few meters away from Tsuen Wan MTR station exit B and bus A31 from the airport will stop few steps away from the hotel and when you go to the airport you just cross to the opposite side to take bus A31 straight to the airport which is about 30-40 mins. The staff can speak and understand English very well and they’re very helpful. I stayed twice at this hotel and definitely will stay here again.

the service is more than average.It is value for money if you booked over two weeks,lots of restaurants beside the hotel.

Rooms are tiny so please book with caution. You get a glimpse of how the locals are squeezed in their tiny flats. A water dispenser is provided in the room.

The Silka Far East Hotel is in an excellent location. There is a bus stop in front of the building and the subway station is a 7 minute walk. There are several banks all nearby as well as an assortment of restaurants. There is also a department store, bakery and other stores including a 711. The rooms are clean, small and comfortable. There is a wonderful park behind the hotel that is worth a visit for it's charm and relaxation.
