Do not choose this hotel even if you are on a budget, there are way better 2-3 star hotels than this one.
3 main problems.
1. Room service comes only once every 4 consecutive days of stay, which is fine for a 3-star hotel, it becomes problematic when they would not give you an extra/replacement towel when u ask them to due to this policy, and guests are only informed of the fact via a notice in their rooms. (Not even upon check-in where we could at least get a heads up) (photo of the notice attached) So if you are only staying for 3 days, and u drop the towel and would like an extra one, they would not give you one, and instead say that you have to buy one (which happened to me).
2. Cleanliness problem
The cups and teaspoons are not cleaned. They don't even try to hide it. Visible marks can be seen on them clearly indicating prior usage, rather disgusting.
3. Extremely poor lighting
The whole room is dimly lit, giving the hotel room a very sketchy vibe. To the point where I thought there was something wrong with the bathroom lights. Maybe it is to mask the fact that the rooms are poorly cleaned.
Other issues:
- The double bed has a hard surface straight down the middle when I lay on it, giving the feeling that it is just 2 bed frames pushed into one.
- I was reminded by the front desk as well as another notice in the bathroom that a switch must be turned on 20 minutes before a shower to ensure that there is warm water. And that after 15 minutes of showering warm water is not guaranteed.
- Even after I have done that, the water temperature is not consistent throughout my showers, with there being sudden coldness and hotness.
- Unstable Wifi connection (I am not taking the piss, the wifi connection really is poor)
Personal thoughts:
- The notice regarding the housekeeping service, as well as the notice for the shower situation, all begin with "this is done to be more environmentally friendly". I understand that this isn't a five star hotel, but addressing these obvious flaws of your hotel by simply brushing it off as trying to be more environmentally friendly is disingenuous. This is not caring for the environment, this is budgeting through the negligence of your guests' basic needs.
- Decently lit rooms, warm water without time constraints, clean utensils, decent wifi, and extra towels when asked is something that any 3-star hotel can offer, just not this one.
