Reliance International Guest House

Stayed at Reliance International Guesthouse for a short trip. The location is convenient with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. The room was basic but served its purpose for an overnight stay. Overall, a budget-friendly option if you’re mainly looking for a place to rest while exploring Hong Kong.

the guest house generally acceptable for a family (two small double beds). the reception man is kind and gentle. all necessary appliances are provided but shared. the room area is not accurate but acceptable.

The location is good in the city center of course. But the staff I am unsure about . Because the one who I waited for took way too long to get to the guesthouse after I called to check in. Room is not dirty. Bathrooms are sa bit old.

Very small room but for an affordable price in the area. They made good use of the space and had our own bathroom but getting the lift up and down always took a while as the building is so busy!

Located in the Chungking Mansion building - convenient location close to food, metro, shopping and museums. After reading hundreds of horrible reviews for many homestays/hotels in HK I was pleasantly surprised by this accommodation. Room was clean - small but enough space to keep bags under the bed and stand up. Water, towels and toilet paper were provided. Fan and aircon were working but there was a hairdryer with a Chinese plug and no adapter so couldn’t be used. Bed was very small (I’m 178cm and JUST fit head to toe touching the wall) and they only gave us one tiny fleece blanket for 2 people - after asking for another blanket they provided one no problem. We booked a room with shared bathrooms which could definitely be cleaner. Overall good value for the expensive accommodation prices in Hong Kong.

The location is very convenient, and the staff was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful. However, the overall standard of the accommodation is quite basic and should not be compared with a regular hotel. We are in Chungking Mansion 😉 The room and facilities are limited, and the level of comfort is modest. Considering the price and the location, it can be an acceptable choice for budget travelers, but expectations should be kept realistic. The friendly service was definitely the highlight of our stay.

Nice place, very central, very clean. The réception was in a différent place but it was easy to get in and everything was perfect. It is very central location and i will recommand this place definitely. It is really cheap

The hotel is inside a buliding like a market, namely Chungking Mansion. Outside this building is very crowded with people drinking alcoholic. To enter the hotel, we have to pass many seller in this market, we also have to know the elevator and number/block to get the hotel. We must call the guard via telephone in front of hotel and waiting for a moment, the guard will came. The room is very small, but clean, and also the guard is friendly.

Unbelievably unacceptable. Hygienic conditions definitely not human as blankets had blood or whichever body fluid marks and the toilet wasn’t even flushed whe entered. Without mentioning how it smelled and the overall cleanliness of the place. Seeing the room-selling people in the market downstairs it genuinely give the perception this is part of a community scam in which the thousands people living in the area push the positive reviews on trip.com giving it a 7,6 rating. Honestly, we just managed to book a 8,0 hotel and the difference is planetary, not 0,4. They shouldn’t be even on a lightyear close category to have this similarity in rating. These people pretend they’re house is adhibited to hosting people, with a printed sign on the door, push the reviews, earn a non -merited fee and then probably make people run away like us, having already paid the money. Leaving the room free. The hotel costed 20€ more btw, on a price of 90. Unbelievable
