La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hobbs

Further than disgusting I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel was unacceptable. Upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that housekeeping had not done a thorough job. The bedsheets were visibly soiled, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. The bathroom was even worse. There was a noticeable urine ring in the toilet, and the shower hadn't been cleaned (there were stubble remnants from the previous guest's shaving). These are basic standards that any hotel should meet, regardless of price point or star rating. I contacted the front desk, but the response was underwhelming and no alternate room was offered. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of attention to cleanliness and guest comfort. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Very disappointing experience. I've stayed at various La Quinta Hotels and this one was the worse by far. No greet from the clerk at check in just a head nod. The pool was out of service but was never on the website or brought up by the clerk at check in. The door in the room would have to be pushed hard to shut because it would get stuck. The light in the bathroom would flicker on and off. The bathtub was disgusting. The exhaust fan looked like it was going to fall off and paint around it was chipping. The closet in the room was dirty and had not been cleaned prior.

When i arrived to my room the bathroom smelled like someone threw up in it and just wiped it up also had feces on the toilet seat. Wish there was a way to upload pics on here

Checked in evening time to come to our room and find out it was NOT suppose to be rented! Door hinged broken, was properly checked out and cleaned if it was to be rented. Lack of communication from am shift to pm shift. Young clerk was not aware of what to do when asked about this room. TV from Walmart brought in to replace the mounted one, ice bucket full of melted ice. Had nowhere else to go in town that night. AM clerk was very nice and understanding as to what we came into.

I didn't feel that a couple of staff members were very helpful in dealing with noise complaints, or with booking issues

The people were really nice. The breakfast was great. The room conditions were not up to my standards. The security lock on our door in our room was broken off. There was mold in the bath tub. The remote for the tv in front of the bed would only work if you were standing right in front of the tv. There was some damage to the inside of the bathroom door. The wholecreason we picked this location over a different hotel was for the pool. Sadly the pool was closed when we were there.
