We had an amazing stay at Sherwood Residence! We booked the 3-bedroom suite, and it was perfect for our family of four. The apartment was incredibly spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine, which made our stay so much more convenient. The location is excellent—close to the city center, making it easy to get around and visit all the main attractions. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Although we only stayed for two nights, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. If we ever come back to Ho Chi Minh City, we will definitely choose Sherwood Residence again. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and spacious place to stay!

Stayed here with 4 other friends and had a great experience. The hotel is old but very clean and well maintained. The room was fully equipped with a functional kitchen, including a stove, fridge, plates, and cups, which was useful for light cooking. There was also a comfortable living room and dining room area for us to gather and relax together. The location is very central and convenient. The towels and bedroom slippers were surprisingly good quality and very comfortable as well. Would definitely stay here again, especially when travelling with family or friends.

I stayed in a 3-bedroom unit with 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, a kitchen, a living room, and a balcony. The room was spacious and comfortable for a group or family stay. Service was excellent. The staff could communicate well in English and were very polite and friendly. Even when getting out of the car, someone would come forward to open the door for you. Overall, the hospitality was very good. I didn’t actually try the breakfast, but I took some photos and it looked pretty good. The price is slightly expensive, so I think trying it for one day is enough since there are many food places around the hotel. The facilities were nice and clean. The swimming pool was well maintained, and there was a yoga room, game room with PS5 (although the game selection was limited), a movie room, and other entertainment facilities as well. The only downside is that the soundproofing could be better. While walking outside the room, I could hear kitchen noises and people talking from inside other rooms. Overall, I would rate it 4/5. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would choose this hotel again next time 👍

We had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Residence! From the moment we arrived, all the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping our room clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, very clean and had great amenities. One of the things we appreciated most as travellers was having both a washing machine and dryer in the room. It was so convenient to do some laundry during our stay, which meant we didn’t have to bring home a huge pile of clothes to wash after our vacation! The bed was very comfortable, although unfortunately the pillow was too soft for me and caused some neck discomfort, so I didn’t sleep as comfortably as I would have liked. Hopefully, there could be firmer pillow options available for guests. Breakfast had somewhat limited choices for us, but it was still perfectly fine. And I have to mention their iced coffee, it was perfect! ☕️😍Definitely one of my favourite things during breakfast. The location was also perfect and very convenient for exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were especially impressed by the friendly staff, cleanliness, spacious room and excellent amenities. Thank you to the entire team at Sherwood Residence for making our stay so pleasant. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Ho Chi Minh City!

Very friendly staffs. clean and big unit recommended

Very spacious. Three bedrooms, living /dining room, two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, two storage rooms, balcony. Rear door access to a supermarket and a convenience store. We walked to War Remnant Museum. Close enough to city centre for local excursion tours free pick up. We went to Cu Chi tunnel and Can Gio biosphere mangrove. Close to all must visit sites in city centre Quiet enough for good sleeps. You also see signs of its age though.

This hotel was a very disappointing experience and does not meet five-star standards at all. From the first day, the front desk refused to give us a high-floor room and only assigned us a 2nd-floor room, saying no other rooms were available. I usually book through Trip.com and always request a higher floor in advance, and I have never had this issue at other hotels. I did not argue further at the time. However, after staying in the room for about two hours, we noticed a very strong renovation/formaldehyde smell. My eyes started burning, and both my wife and I could clearly feel it. When I complained, they sent someone to the room and simply sprayed perfume, which was shocking and completely unacceptable for a so-called five-star hotel. After speaking with the manager, they finally changed our room. Overall, during the five-night stay, the hotel felt like an old building that was purchased and roughly renovated, not a newly built luxury hotel. You can clearly see that the windows and doors have an extra second layer added, which looks very rough, although it helps slightly with soundproofing. On the fourth day, the air conditioner started leaking water — first a little, then a large amount — and we had to call staff again. Breakfast was also very average, and the entire stay was unpleasant. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

Been stay here every time come visit HCMC for the last 3 years. Over each stay, I can tell the hotel is caring about the property and facilities as it gets improved and refreshed each year. Will come and stay again on my next family trip to HCMC.

Excellent stay. Spacious, quiet, and close to major landmarks. Highly recommend!

This is my second stay at Sherwood, to be honest, the reason I was returning to HCM was because of the fantastic time I had on my previous trip earlier this year. The room may not be the most modern, but it was kept in spotless condition. Everyone we met were very friendly and helpful. Location is walkable to most tourist spots around. We had the 3 bedroom apartment due to the large group we had. Everything you need is provided in the room including washer and dryer. Will go back to Sherwood whenever I visit HCM in future.

Nice hotel. A little walk from the town center but then we needed that quietness and away from the chaos of Saigon. Staff was professional and courteous. We will definitely book it again if we were in SGN.

The apartment is quite spacious and features double-paned windows, which effectively minimize traffic noise. While the renovations may be older, the property is well-maintained.

Great location, nice staff, nice rooms. The hotel has a lot of nods to its history. Comfortable stay and very quiet in the room we had which overlooked the back of the property. Would stay here again 😊

Wonderful hotel with excellent service, clean rooms, and a very comfortable atmosphere. The only drawback is that it’s not a halal hotel, so Muslim guests may find limited food options.
