After checking in and entering the room, there was a shampoo that someone had used on the table. When I asked for the luggage storage service, the staff said it was free for up to 2 days and would be charged from the 3rd day. When I went to pick up my luggage 2 days after leaving it, the staff said that even that would be charged if there were no additional room reservations. His voice was very forceful, but my brain sensed it as barking and did not command my body to take any action.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location was good. Rooms cleaned daily.

AVOID!!! Rooms smell very mouldy with weak air con. Staff are very miserable. Hotel wouldn't let my Vietnamese girlfriend check in. vietnamese women can not stay with foreign men at this dive.

Friendly and helpful front desk. Clean room. central location, walking distance to Ben Thanh market. Many choices of local foods nearby.

Place is near to all the tourist destinations and food streets. Recommend staying here. Everything is in walking distance.

The problems started immediately upon checking in. We were shown to a room with a queen-sized bed. I told them I'd reserved a room with two beds. We were immediately taken to another room, this one with two beds. We were happy. However... the next morning we were told that we were in the wrong room... and were ordered to move, yet again... to a third room. I complained that a “Good" hotel would never make guests move to yet another room, because of the hotel's own mistake. The hotel has a total ******* running the front desk during the morning hours. He is loud and rude. It was He that made us move rooms... twice. The hotel is supposed to offer housekeeping service on a daily basis. We had it ONCE. Unfortunately, I had a case of diarrhea, and soiled the bed linens. The next day, sheets were not changed... simply left soiled. I complained, and was told that I'd have to pay for the "ruined" sheets. I washed the sheets myself in the bathtub. Not only that, but I got them perfectly clean. The hotel, however, said that I had to pay for them as they could not be used again. I had given them an envelope with our passports and money to be kept in the safe. Now they had a bargaining tool. Pay 40 dollars for the sheets, or you don't get your passports back. I went to the police to complain. I was refused. The police would not help. I finally had to pay 30 dollars, just to get our passports back. Illegal Extortion. HORRIBLE treatment by extortionist staff. I told them that better hotels put a list on the wall, explaining that damages must be paid for. This hotel had No Such list. ATTENTION: Stay away from this hotel. No Hot Water... ever. The manager's mother is a total *****.

2nd stay at the hotel very good value and friendly

Very friendly receptionist - male and female both. Place is clean and price is good. Superb location. Overall a good budget stay

1. Water pressure in the shower is really weak. The washroom sink has good water pressure, but the shower has a really weak water pressure, so it will take you time to shower. 2. There is a warning sign not to leave any valuables inside (passports, wallets, phones, tablets, laptops, money and etc.. ), which is a bit concerning. 3. The door locks are keys, so you need to remind yourself to lock the door everytime, as it does not automatically lock when you close the door. 4. Very friendly reception. Always gets up to greet whether you are entering or leaving. For the price, amazing value and location.

My stay at Le Saigon was really good.The staff was nice and friendly. Overall experience was great. They have elevators to the rooms but it's not completely disabled friendly. You have to climb a few steps to reach the reception

The standard room with no window is good for the price but there were a few ants in the room

I stay there whenever in HCMC. It is good value and a great location.

Nice little hotel in District 1 close to all attractions. Very polite and helpful staff
