Duiker Game Lodge

Phil and I stayed overnight at this comfortable lodge and it was the perfect stopover. The team of 3 that looked after us ( we were the sole guests that night) were excellent… the chef produced an enjoyable evening meal that was well presented and she served us with a smile each time. The main host was charming, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. A big thank you to Sibu who not only helped host us for the evening but also took us on a game drive in the morning. He was courteous, an excellent communicator and shared his knowledge of the animals and the terrain with us perfectly…. We enjoyed his company.

Duiker Game Lodge is a hidden gem just a few km's away from the Hluhluwe park. Offering a boutique experience with 8 rooms, you are treated with care and a personal touch from the moment you arrive. A wonderful team is there to assist you with anything you need. The rooms are large and offer all you need with a massive bed 🤣. There is a common lounge and bar area, as well as a library and games area for rainy days. The pool offers beautiful views of the Lodge while you soak up the sun. Breakfast and dinners are enjoyed on the farm and you get to interact with other guests while enjoying a 3 course dinner meal each night. After dinner you can share drinks and stories around the boma outside and find other guests quickly becoming familiar friends. The farm offers game drives and they can arrange any other activity for you in the surrounding area, so you van just show up and enjoy ❤️. Overall Duiker offers great value for money compared to many of the farms in the area. Marli, Sibu, Sifiso and the rest of team will make your experience memorable.

Sifiso and the game drives are just WOW! His historic knowledge keeps you thinking for days on end. Keep up the good work Sifiso. Wandile and his hospitality was absolutely excellent and the Chef's food is absolutely divine. Overall, a very exciting and special stay. Definitely good value for money.

We enjoyed the beautiful setting, the excellent game drives, great food and very good service. There were some challenges with the newly built chalets where we were initially accommodated.

We loved our 3 night stay at Duiker lodge . From the minute we opened our beautifully appointed chalet we were so in love with the place The attention to detail was superb . The food was better than any 5 star hotel and the whole lodge was exceptionally clean Thankyou marli and the whole team

We absolutely loved our stay at duiker Game Lodge in November 23. It was Perfect from the beginnig Till the end. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Just like the food, absolutely delicious. The Place is very peaceful, we loved Sitting at the porch looking for game. We would definitly book again and recommend to friends.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great to see wild life from my room. The room was spacious, and functional. The food was good and well presented. Appreciated that the room was made hypoallergenic.

We really enjoyed our stay at Duiker Lodge. From the warm welcome on arrival, variety of dining, helpfulness of all staff and particularly the game drive experience by the ranger Sifiso. The property was of an extremely high standard, thank you Ruzaan and your whole team.

Rest and peacefulnes, first time and wil come back in future. Was the Africa experience . Food was very good. The game drive was not that good. The ranger was good but not much wild animals, love the smal lodge where you are not onther number
