Voxx Marmaris Beach Resort

The hotel is in the middle of a village with absolutely nothing around it. After a 2 and a half transfer from the airport I was convinced we had been dropped at the wrong hotel. There were chickens & cockerels in the neighbouring garden and the hotel looked nothing like the photos advertised. The hotel is lucky if it’s a 2 star. We had to move rooms due to the extremely foul smell coming from the sceptic tanks. The hotels decor is very dark & is most definitely needing redone. The lights in the hallway had inches of dust on them. The outside space was actually lovely but the beach was very disappointing. Food wasn’t great and there are no pastries or desserts except waffles & vanilla ice cream - every day. The only saving grace was that the staff were lovely. Jasmine & Ginger, the entertainment staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure the holiday makers had enjoyable stay. The owner & manager however were absolutely horrible. They would scream & shout at the staff in the middle of the bar or restaurant and we watched two members of staff being reduced to tears on separate occasions. The female manager didn’t speak English which was unhelpful as there were many of us who wanted to complain about the treatment of the staff. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was an excellent surprise from the first contact with the reception until the last minute. I have no negative points to point out. I was very well received and welcomed by the staff who were simply 5 stars, from the reception, restaurant and bar, all very polite and always ready to help. I definitely want to go back and I recommend it to everyone, it was really worth it, I felt at home. It is very important to mention the care and availability that the manager had with us, simply fantastic and very dedicated and concerned, a fantastic person, many congratulations

We absolutely love it here! This is our third visit and again we have had the most relaxing stay. Chengiz is brilliant very attentive which was passed down to his team. Jasmine & Ginger were great too, always happy to see you. Then there’s housekeeping staff big shout out to them, they have surprised us with lovely decor on our bed after every clean. We cannot thank you enough for yet again making us so welcome and feeling so relaxed, we do not want to leave. We would 100% recommend staying here.

The Voxx beach hotel this was our third visit we've been made to feel like one of the family by all the staff. I'm disabled and can't walk far but once you've come down from your room in the lift it's all on one level. The food is fresh and you can always find something you'll like. The entertainment staff are always trying to give you the best time they can. Both Ginger boy and Jasmine and friendly up beat and try to give you a great time with games and activities throughout the day and entertainment in an evening. The cleaner's are amazing and made our room look amazing after it was cleaned every day. The restaurant staff led by Cengiz were lovely I had a fall and they couldn't do enough to help me and make sure I was okay. We will recommend this hotel to friends and family. We will be back 5 stars.

Well I was going to write a glowing review, but I've been beaten to it. It's already been said many times that Cenghis, Jasmine and Ginger are exceptional, so no point in ploughing that furrow yet again. They really are. However let's have a shout out for Serrat, the smiling chef with his specs balanced on his head, the lovely long-suffering pancake/ice cream lady tucked away in the corner and the young receptionist, never without a smile. All the staff were terrific and it's a real testament to the capabilities of the manager. Quiet, authoritative and unfussy. The staff and the hotel are a real compliment to his talents. Thanks to all of you for giving Annie and me a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable break.

What an amazing place, cleaning staff work very hard and are always friendly, young receptionist amazing helpful and friendly, Ghengis restaurant/bar manager can not do enough to help and make sure your stay is excellent. Young pool bar man excellent always smiling and help to help and serve you.. unfortunately I didn't get his name. THE Hotel supply's a free of charge minibus into Marmaris everyday and free of charge and departs the Hotel at 10.00 and 18.00 with returns from Marmaris to the Hotel at 16.30 and 23.00 Yesmin and Ginger boy on the entertainment team simply out of this world, always interacting with the hotels guests making sure they are happy or if they need / want anything even on their days off... Hotel and its grounds are kept very clean as you would expect. The food is always of a very good quality although limited selection.. Personally I would of liked to see more steamed / grilled fish.. but always something enjoyable to eat.. The Restaurant could do with some fly zappers above the entrance doors to the restaurant to try and deter some of the Flys and some sharper knifes as the ones supplied are blunt but seems to be standard blunt knifes from this visit inTurkey. A couple of quiet bars/restaurant a short walk down the beach and a Local supermarket that sells near enough everything a short 5 minute walk uphill.. Magnums in the inside freezer near the till whilst we were there were only 37 TL and Cornettos 27 TL. I would be more than happy to recommend the hotel in a quiet / relaxing location and will be back again.
