Room was spaceious and the view to the ocean was amazing. The staff is very kind and welcoming. All of our requests were taken care of right away. Food is super delicious. When not too many people for dinner, they have a prepared menu for you to choose. Udesh (barman from the staff) was the best and so nice. We became friends ❤️

Amazing hotel with amazing views. The sound of the sea is really quite something. Rooms are cool and spacious and staff were very friendly. The games the staff put on for hotel guests for Sri Lankan new year were very wholesome and thoughtful.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was also good. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant – the food was delicious, fresh, and offered a great variety. The breakfast buffet in particular was a fantastic way to start the day. The overall vibe is great. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel. We had a rest with family in September. We liked everything. The hotel is small and cozy, very kind and friendly staff. The voucher included breakfast and dinner. The food is delicious. When there was no buffet, they invited food with beautiful presentation. The hotel is located right on the beach and has its own pool. Turtles and fish swim within a five-minute walk. We went out of season, so there was renovation going on, but it did not have a negative impact

The cold pool is amazing !! very relaxing on a hot day ☺️ Love coming here at lunch time for the chips, burger's and the chocolate milkshakes and definitely for the cocktails !! The Staff are so welcoming and lovely also ! Such a pretty view of the sea from the sun beds and pool!

The only positive thing about this place is that it is situated on the beachfront (although it’s not safe to swim because of all the rocks and the beach further along is heavily polluted). The entrance to the hotel has no parking out the front and the hotel is old and dirty ,however the front of house staff are friendly and welcoming. Our room wasn’t ready so they wanted to leave our luggage unattended in the foyer which didn’t sit well with us and we asked for it to be put somewhere safer. Our room was small with little space to move and an even smaller bathroom had no amenities (shampoo etc.) barely any hot water and one small bar of soap for 3 to share. The outside toilet had no toilet paper and hotel signage threatened charges for food and beverages brought in from external sources. The food offerings for breakfast were very average, basic western style dishes which were just warm and the Sri Lankan foods on offer were nearly empty by the time we got there and they were not replenished. There was a resupply of fresh fruit though which was nice. If you want a beach to swim in, this is not the hotel for you. If you want comfort, this is not the hotel for you. My advice, head further west to Bentota and you’ll find both these things aplenty.
