Would definitely stay again, and would highly recommend!! Everything was wonderful from start to finish. We had issues with a hotel in Newcastle, UK in June 2025, which we pre-booked prior to our trip to the UK. That was a total disaster, so decided to call the Travelodge in Hexham, UK. One phone call and we were able to get two rooms without any issues. We were met by Sasha, at the front desk who was amazing and was more than accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage and go hike Hadrian's wall. We can't thank you enough!! Upon our return we were again, met with a great staff at the front desk and enjoyed a warm meal in the small, but clean and comfortable dining area. MANY thanks to Megan, Abbie and Max who went out of their way to ensure that our needs were met, after hiking in the cold rain! All three staff ensured that we lacked for nothing!! Everyone working at the lodge was very polite and professional, and very attentive. The entire facility was clean, quiet and for the most part comfortable, and was within walking to the and from the train station and the bus to get to Hadrian's wall.
