Sergios Hotel

L'hôtel est bien placé car proche boutiques plages etc. Le personnel est agréable. Mais l'établissement est vétuste, les chambres sont moches, les salles de bains étriquées ! C'est vieux, vieillot, has been... La restauration est variée et plutôt réussie ! Un conseil : allez voir ailleurs... Dommage.

Świetne miejsce na krótki wypoczynek, bardzo miła obsługa dającą poczucie opieki na każdy lm kroku. To największa zaletą tego obiektu. Pyszne różnorodne posiłki. Jedynym minusem jest brudna woda w basenie. Na pewno jeszcze wrócę.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel as a part of a package easyJet holiday this last week and while we had a great week in Hersonissos, there are a few points about the hotel that we wish we knew before we went! The rooms in the photos look relatively new and modern but they are actually quite run down (ours was anyway). We discovered that some other people in the hotel had more newly renovated bathrooms which we definitely did not. While not terrible, the shower was shabby and shower curtain was useless as the bathroom flooded no matter what! And the last major thing was that the pool was murky and green, we used it on the first day and then were made aware of the hotel next door which had a pool we could also use which was much clearer and could see our own feet! Other than that the food was decent with some days better than others but a lot of choice and all fresh, the drinks were good and a great coffee machine. Luigi was amazing in the lobby bar and the staff were friendly and offered us food after our late arrival and showers on our last day after we checked out. Overall we had a great time for a relatively cheap holiday with just a few things that would improve our stay!

Here is an honest review, I write these points in no specific order and have tried to look at everything in a positive light rather than focusing purely on the negatives as many do. It is extensive as I’ve chosen to write the things I feel I didn’t have answered before my trip and/or have been forgotten about due to the above. I paid £650 for a week, all inclusive so value for money is excellent in my opinion considering I have had excellent flight times. Compared to the reviews of other similarly rated all inclusive offerings locally, Sergios definitely seems to be on the higher end in respect to food and drink. Drinks I thought were superb - the only problems I had regarding drinks were the fact fizzy drinks are not available until 11am which in my opinion is probably a little late. Only juices available between breakfast starting and ending and nothing available 10:30-11 once breakfast ends. When the restaurant is not open, you are still able to go in and use the drinks pumps in there - I would highly advise you do this rather than using the fizzy drink machine near the outdoor pool bar as this was constantly surrounded by wasps etc. Drinks are cola cola branded and consist of full fat coke, Diet Coke, orange fanta, lemon Fanta and sprite. Sometimes they tasted a little off and possibly a cheaper alternative but other times tasted perfectly like Coca Cola products. I found the spirits to be very palatable and usually, well measured using a 50ml measure cup as opposed to most A/I where it is 90% spirit and 10% soft drink as the is makes the drinks undrinkable. I didn’t try many cocktails but their cocktail menu is great and described exactly what you’re getting which again is a great positive. Food: overall pretty good, I think a lot of views are obviously based on personal preference and taste. I am extremely fussy and always found something to eat. At the start of the week, the food labels were spot on. you always knew what you were getting but for some reason they stopped placing the labels out a couple of days into my stay. Unsure why but the staff were always happy to help navigate and make you aware of what was being offered. Breakfast: I found breakfast to be the best meal of the day, for my taste. There were standard options such as egg, ham/bacon, a variety of sausage and then pastries too. Cereal and yoghurt always on offer as was toast. Unusually, all the sandwich meats etc were put out at breakfast rather than lunch time? This is odd to me so I tended to make a sandwich at breakfast and store in my fridge until lunch. I never had a problem doing this. They served a small chocolate loaf cake which was beautiful. Lunch: very hit and miss and as above, no sandwich options. Always plenty of carb options, pasta, potatoes, rice etc. Dinner: again, same as lunch. Usually a soup on offer too. The standard of food for dinner was a bit strange as some days it was spot on and others it was almost like picking from a birthday buffet

Let’s put this into context. It cost less than half of our usual Turkish 5*, and we got 10 nights AI instead of 7. So there are limits in what is given. But - it’s spotless throughout, and the staff are helpful (Nicos especially so). But remember - it’s a budget! Didn’t like being dropped off in the dark with a 50yd walk to the hotel with cases, but that’s not really the hotel’s fault. Going home is less of a hassle as you’re familiar with the surroundings by then. Check in was a breeze and our room was more than adequate. The 2 beds pushed together made it feel like a large queen. We’d got a spare single too. Balcony was small but usable & the bathroom was small but the shower was better than some hotels I’ve used in the UK. Towel changed every 3 days was fine. Room cleaned every day. I would have preferred to have extras such as aircon included in the holiday price rather than paying for it on arrival. Just felt a bit Ryanair’esque. Not expensive though. Remember - it’s a budget! Self service for beer, wine, coffee & soft drinks I actually like - less queues at the bar. The food is limited, but for a 3*, they really try to vary things, and the salads, bread, cheese, fruit etc., always give one something to fall back onto. Not once did we think that there was nothing for us. Remember - it’s a budget. We didn’t do any exploration apart from walking along the seafront, which was nice. But we spoke to people that had been on quite a few excursions and enjoyed them. So there is plenty to do it seems. Sunbeds easy to get. Never missed out on our favourite spot. The small pool is ok. The artificial grass meant no burnt feet in the heat of the day. No entertainment, but that suited us. Remember - it’s a budget. What worries me most about this place is that because the walls are so thin and the corridors echo, and some rooms overlook the road, it could be a bit of a lottery as to how peaceful the rooms are. We were fine, but a group of drinking mates or a disruptive family or two nearby, & you might be in for disturbing nights. But …. Remember (yes you’ve got the message by now). They sorted ya a late check out which was really useful and got us an extra day by the pool. Again, really helpful staff. Would we return? Probably not as the World is large and there’s many more places to see. But if a deal popped up as good as the one we got this time. Well, who knows?

Little gem of a hotel! All tastefully refurbished. Very clean, staff immensely attentive and super hard working. Special mention to all the daytime staff especially Kris who made us feel so welcome. No rush for sunbeds and a superb location for the beach and nightlife. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutley amazing service from the staff. Exceptionally clean. Rooms are basic but perfect. Lovely poolside. Fantastic location and the service was outstanding. Good range of food. We arrived late in the early hours and we were fed and watered, when we checked out we were still considered there guests until the time for flight pick up. Simply brilliant!

We stayed at Sergios last year and were so impressed that we rebooked for this year. Much to our delight this already excellent hotel has become even better, with tasteful cosmetic improvements to both the pool and outdoor dining areas, together with increased food choices from all meal options. The location of Sergios is ideal, being in the heart of the resort, yet retaining an oasis of calm within. Plus the nearest beach is within a comfortable two minute stroll. The rooms are comfortable, meticulously cleaned on a daily basis and now include air conditioning at no extra charge. Evening entertainment is provided on certain evenings and proves to be very popular. But what sets Sergios apart from other hotels is the outstanding level of customer service and genuine friendliness of all staff. The entire team exude and promote a level of hospitality which is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed at this hotel from 5th-12th July. Had an excellent week away. Hotel is in a perfect location by all shops, bars and restaurants and only a 5 minute walk from the beach which you can see from some of the rooms. Room was spacious only downside was the layout of the bathroom the toilet being so close to shower. Food was delicious there was different choices each day. Plenty of cocktails included in the all inclusive which was good. Staff were very friendly. Thanks to Luigi for great service of a night at the bar making us laugh. Would definitely come back here
