Nema Design Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

A high class hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely room, very clean & tidy throughout the 8 day stay. The best breakfast choices I’ve ever experienced with good options during the day. We used the separate restaurant for food one evening, very experienced staff & great options. A nice area for an evening drink before going out as well. Staff around the pool area were also happy to help & really helpful with advice on other places to visit or how to get around.

We had a beautiful 8 night stay here in September. The staff are really friendly and always take their time to chat to you and help whenever needed. Swim up room was very clean but found the actual rooms really small considering the amount they cost. We did love having our own pool but we didn’t end up using that much before the sun was only on it in the morning so then we went by the main pool. Main pool was really clean and the sun beds were the comfiest I have seen in a hotel. Staff around the pool were super friendly and the lunch menu was delicious. We didn’t have to wake up early for sun beds which was another bonus! Breakfast had a good selection of food and a as always really tasty. Breakfast staff were really nice and tables were always clean. The only downfall to our staff was the evenings as it was really quiet and there was nothing ever going on. They could have done with some live music or light entertainment in the evenings to increase the atmosphere. Would definitely recommended this hotel to friends and family.

I recently stayed at the Nema Design Hotel in Crete and had an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly warmhearted and helpful, offering a personal and kind, yet professional approach that made us feel right at home. The breakfast was very good with varied options, and each dinner had a different theme, providing a delightful variety of dishes every night. The staff were especially welcoming to Israelis, even knowing a bit of Hebrew, and there were vegetarian options available for those who keep Kosher. The hotel’s own well-maintained beach was a perfect spot to relax, and the spa service was excellent, with very attentive and professional care. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Nema for 10 nights from the end of August into September and had the most amazing time, all thanks to the high standards of the hotel itself and also the staff! We stayed in the masionette room with jacuzzi- the design was flawless throughout the whole room, the large glass windows allowed us to catch the morning sunrises which was beautiful to capture. The service we received from all staff members was exceptional, but we owe a HUGE thank you to: Soumi, Odysseas, Rasti, Sofia, Marinos, Paris, and all the chef team from the Rizes bar. They all made our trip unforgettable and would return just to see all their faces again. The food was great and there was a good selection from the buffet style meals, we particularly enjoyed the poolside snacks and evening meals in Rizes bar. The hotel always looked spotless and staff were always attentive. Poolside had a great atmosphere; clean, quiet but not too quiet, relaxing music and friendly guests! We would 100% return and would recommend to everyone we know. Thank you again for a brilliant trip, one we won’t forget!

High standard hotel, beautiful designed rooms, lots of facilities. High-end amenities. The staff is the best, so friendly, helpful and genuine. They are the true 5-star experience. From the lobby staff to the cleaning to the poolstaff. They make you feel so welcome. Special thanks to the front desk staff and Soumi. She is always happy, cheerful, and so funny (the best asset for this hotel).I truly hope they are appreciated and rewarded for their qualities. You guys made our holliday. Just a suggestion: as a general manager (NOT operating manager), when you walk into the breakfast room, don't correct the staff in front of the guests. It's unprofessional, rude, old style management and demotivating for otherwise perfect staff. There is no need to demonstrate your dominance

We’ve just enjoyed a week at Nema in a design room with independent pool. Clean, quiet and relaxing. We’d definitely recommend a stay at this hotel and would return. The breakfast selection was very good, something for all tastes. The only negatives were the room cleaning wasn’t always perfect, sometimes the bed wasn’t made, one day we were only given one pool towel, teacups weren’t changed for clean ones and I washed our glasses up in the bathroom with shower gel as they weren’t changed for clean ones for a couple of days. No hardship really but not quite 5 star. As I said though it was a treat to have our own pool which was cleaned regularly and we would recommend a stay here for full relaxation and pampering.
