Well what can we say we’ve just returned from a two week stay for the second time casa blu Crete as far as we are concerned we say 10 stars all the way staff,cleaners,bar staff,and chefs fantastic people Plenty of sun beds lovely pools food amazing perfect location plenty of lovely restaurants,shops,and bars we have already booked for 2025 thank you Dimitris and family excellent as always kind regards mrs Kim and Alan

This hotel is one of the very best lve ever stayed in for many reasons.lf you’re looking for somewhere to just relax and chill out you’ll find this hotel perfect-it’s immaculate and reminded me of a swish spa hotel.Its VERY comfortable-the huge beds were better than my own at home,great aircon-lovely shower pressure,coffee machine.The sun beds are padded and PEACEFUL no inflatables and poolside antics here.ld say when l stayed it was a general age group of 40-60year olds all reading paperbacks-perfect!!!Lunchtime is a joy with a great menu-no big basic ham and cheese toasties here-salads have dried figs and walnuts-totally delicious. The location was perfect to explore all 3 of the villages-a slow walk out to enjoy one of the many great restaurants on the doorstep-one better than the other. The staff at this hotel can’t do enough for you-you can order private dining-trips-transport and overall they made us feel very welcome.A lot of the clientele are returning customers and l can see why. Constructive criticism-while we were there l noticed a few folk starting to reserve sun beds-this needs nipping in the bud-don’t get me wrong there was always enough beds but we were always in the shade all morning as we didn’t set our alarm It was also a bind as you can’t charge your phone or leave the fridge on when you leave your room-this meant we mostly had warm water and flat phones. Home now after our very first visit to this fabulous hotel. From the moment we arrived we knew we had found our happy place and knew we would be returning next year for a longer stay. The hotel is beautiful, stylish and immaculately kept. The rooms are very well presented and have the most amazing views. The ladies who take care of the rooms do a fantastic job keeping everything spotless and making sure we had lovely fresh towels daily. Everything inside and the outside areas of the hotel is decorated and presented to an extremely high end with a wonderful calm relaxing atmosphere throughout. We were welcomed warmly by Dimitris who showed us to our beautiful room and made sure we had everything we needed. He was always on hand to answer any questions we had and to tell us about the area and things we could do. Starting each day with an awesome breakfast which had a huge variety of food including cereals, fruit, pastries, continental and English breakfasts all presented beautifully. It was a joy to see the smiling faces of Ernie and other colleagues who all do an amazing job. A big shout out to the chefs who are behind the scene but certainly deserve a special thank you. Desi, Giorgios, Mannos and Ruula's service around the bar and pool go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as memorable as possible. Honestly the service you receive here by all the staff is delivered with lots of smiles, love and happiness. We loved starting of our evening with the best G&T we have had x A huge big thank you to Kasampalis Dimitris and his beautiful wife, you have the most beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with a beautiful team who seem like family to us all. We cannot wait to come back to see you in 2025 and are counting down the days already.

I don’t often leave reviews these days. But I felt compelled to for Casa Blu and especially for the wonderful team there. Repeating what others have already said - the hotel, rooms, pools, sunbeds, views etc are all top tier. But the jewel in the crown here is the brilliant staff. Firstly Dimitris the reception manager. A lovely gent who will go out of his way to help in any way. He helped us with local insider info and restaurant bookings as well as where to visit in Heraklion. Also about where to visit locally for fitness (even though it was never used 😉). We’ll miss his smiling face every morning. Desi and Ernie on breakfast & lunch always have a lovely chat with a smile. Starts the day brilliantly. Giorgios, Mannos and Ruula on the bar are brilliant company in the evening. And they got just the right amount of lime in my drink every time 😂. As well as Night Dimitris who checked us in super efficiently. Also the unseen staff here - the chefs produce really good food, and the housekeeping team keep the rooms spotless. Of course, Koutoulafari, Piskopiano and Old Hersonsios are unmissable. The super friendly Greek welcome and delicious food mean you must spend time here. It’s rare that I leave a place feeling gutted to go home, especially after 10 days. But the relaxed ethos of Casa Blu and the fantastic team will ensure we return in the future.

Lovely hotel Lovely staff Great location Clean / tidy Lovely breakfast Negatives .... Not enough parasols/ beds . If you want a bed after 8am ...you would be hard pressed to find one . The music round the bar / pool has been too loud . Seems to change to club music at lunchtime . Sounds like a night club . Two couples said it drove them nuts so left to go to their rooms . It does spoil any peace for relaxation . It has shattered peace that some of us hoped for .

Stayed at Casa Blu several times and now feel compelled to write about it as it’s totally on another level than other hotels I’ve stayed at. Firstly the hotel itself - it’s beautiful. Rooms are very well presented and have everything you would need for your stay. More importantly, rooms, hotel grounds, all areas, are immaculate and well looked after. Food & drink. Breakfast has a plethora of food and all you will need for cereals, fruit, pastries, continental and English breakfasts, Daytime food - there is a varied menu which caters for all palettes. Drinks, huge drinks menu but if it’s not on the menu, it’s no problem as the staff will make something extraordinary for you. Hospitality - top notch. EVERY member of staff who work here, will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as memorable as possible. Honestly the service you receive here is given with love and a total respect for making sure you have the best time ever. Casa Blu - simply the best xx

From arrival to departure you are made to feel special as nothing is too much trouble. This is our second visit and we have already booked for next year.

I saw the good reviews before booking but the hotel far surpassed our expectations Newish hotel so absolutely immaculate. The rooms are big, modern and spotless. Beds comfy. Had a sea view. Staff - all staff work tirelessly. The maids are constantly cleaning all areas. The bar staff can’t do enough for you and are always smiling. I’ve never met anyone happier than the South African lady (I’m really sorry but don’t know her name). Breakfast has lots of choice and good quality. There is no evening food only lunch, although there was a bbq one evening which was reasonable and high quality. We recommend it. No real issues with sun bed. You will always get one but maybe not the best spot always. A lady came in to do aqua aerobics a couple of times per week. Carried out in the smaller pool so you don’t have to join in. The location is perfect. Loads of bars and traditional restaurants within walking distance. Old Hersonnisis is a must with a beautiful tradition square surrounded by restaurants. It was about a 15-20 min walk. You can also walk to the beach and main Hersonnisos in about 20 min but it’s uphill coming back. It’s very lively with bars and clubs and shops if that’s your thing. We would definitely recommend the hotel, especially for value for money.

Five star all the way! Everything about this boutique hotel is first class, rooms, staff, food and service. Nothing is too much trouble, this hasn’t changed since we first came here, now on our third visit. We will always return here as we can guarantee a perfect experience from beginning to end. It’s the whole team who not only create but deliver exceptional service 100 percent of time.
