Senseana Sea Side Resort & Aquadventure

Firstly, this hotel is amazing! There is an army of cleaners, so your stay is blissfully clean. Entertainment is good for adults, but it's not so great for teenagers, as it is extremely limited for them. The food is simply amazing, and the staff are fantastic as well. The towels for the pool are much better than the ones provided for washing, which gave me a good laugh! The quality of the drinks is excellent; I would describe them as "drinkable." There are plenty of waiters ready to serve you, whether by the pool or during entertainment events. I was very impressed! The water slides kept my teenagers entertained for about three days, but then they got bored. They ended up spending a fortune on jet skis and lounging on the beach, which were at good prices. Personally, though, I just wanted to relax. The rooms are small, even for three people, so it's best to book early and choose the right room for your family. I highly recommend getting a well-being massage! Hari was brilliant; it was expensive, but well worth it. The gym is good, although I didn’t use it much, to be honest. The family room is perfect for four, while the standard rooms are really more suitable for couples. Would I return? As a couple, yes. With teenagers, I'm not so sure. They would need an amusement center, a pool table, games, etc., for me to consider coming back with them. However, it's perfect for families with little ones! There are good bars on the beach, and the town is only a €15 ride away, so it's definitely worth a visit.

We came back to Senseana on Sunday, August 24th, 2025. Second year in a row for us. Let’s just say the week didn’t start exactly perfect: we walked into our room and found a leak from the AC, apparently because the previous guests didn’t bother closing the balcony door while the air conditioning was running. Not the hotel’s fault, but still a bit of a bummer. Now here’s the part that shows why we love this place. The staff didn’t panic, didn’t make a big deal, just calmly told us everything would be fine, and then went ahead and set us up in a much nicer upgraded room. At first we were told it might only be for 48 hours until they figured things out, but then Michael (legend!) came back to us, apologized for the inconvenience, and said we could stay in the upgraded room for the rest of our vacation. On top of that, he added 30 minutes at the spa for my wife. Not for me, I’m not really a spa guy, I’d probably just fall asleep on the massage table. The staff were simply amazing the entire time, every single one of them. Friendly, warm, and just genuinely pleasant. You can feel it’s not an act, they really care. Big shout out to Michael again, who took care of us all week long. This was our second time at the resort, we came last year too, and it definitely won’t be the last. We already know we’ll be back next summer. Why mess with a winning formula? The water park is a blast, our little two year old didn’t want to leave, and the pool is super nice. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add more shaded areas around the main pool, especially for kids. To be fair, though, most of the kids’ time was spent in the water park, where there’s already plenty of shade. Last year we came with the extended family. This year it was just me, my wife, our toddler, and another couple with their little one. Both times were fantastic in their own way. So once again, huge thanks to the whole Senseana team for making our holiday such a great experience. You’ve got yourselves regular guests here. See you in 2026! 🫶🏻

Highly recommended spa in hotel , very nice experience specially with therapist Konstantyna & Zacharenia . Professional and very friendly massage and therapist. Definitely we will back to Create and this hotel and this massage.

Super family break in a lovely hotel. Five of us from age 9 to 74. People say the rooms are small, but they are spotless with lovely bathroom, fluffy towels and luxury toiletries. We were only in our rooms to shower or sleep, I do wonder what people have at home. The food was really good, plenty of choice and they are good at catering for allergies if asked. We went to the Greek speciality which was excellent. Granddaughter loved the water slides, but we spent most of the day around the main pool where we always managed to get a bed, usually facing the road and sea, to catch a breeze as it was very hot. We couldn't fault the staff anywhere, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. The water in the pool wasn't clear as elsewhere, but we're home now, and no-one's ill, so that's all ok!. The little train that picks up outside the hotel was delightful, we stopped off in Old Hersonissos and also at the port in Hersonissos, well worth doing.

Let me preface this by saying I’m well travelled and love an all inclusive hotel. Just returned from this hotel and whilst it was aesthetically pleasing, I did fail to see what other elements made it 5star. We travelled as two adults and a 4year old for a week. At check in, we had to pay £100 tourist tax which feels far more than I’ve paid in any other country. We had a jacuzzi room which was was nowhere near big enough for 2 adults let alone a third child. I’m not being but there was no space to swing a cat let alone store 3 suitcases and a buggy. The bathroom shower was a wet room style, all open plan. The wardrobe/storage wasn’t enough and it was exposed (no doors) so you constantly had to look at your things hanging up which felt like you were living in mess. The rooms didn’t get cleaned every day, just beds made, the jacuzzi was a lovely touch however the light didn’t work, and I complained about this every day as it makes a difference when using in the evening and it was never fixed. These rooms are better in my opinion to the private pool rooms and they have zero privacy. You could touch the people in the pool next to you. Also if your next door to someone who’s kids want to use the pool at 5am it wears thin! The main buffet selection I felt was poor in comparison to other lower star all inclusives, they didn’t have the usual staples every day such as pancakes for breakfast for the kids. The evening selection was as also limited,particularly if you are vegetarian. The hotel has two a la carte restaurants, which you have to book 3 days in advance and you only get to eat in one of the restaurant once as part of the all inclusive offer, after that you have to pay, you should be able to visit each once as part of the offer. The drinks selection was very good at the bars and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The main pool is not very big, the water always looked murky and because some of the sun beds are literally located in the pool you’re constantly getting splashed/wet. The water park is great, be aware that the bigger slides require children to be a height of 120cm minimum and they do check! The smaller slides for children is great but gets chaotic and the lifeguard pays no attention to the number of kids hurling themselves down the slides at the same time. Someone should be stationed at the top (like at the bigger slides) to ensure kids are leaving enough space in between go’s as it was just ending up in carnage and tears. The evening entertainment was poor, very poor in fact. Usually either a singer or musician for around 45mins. No shows or “entertainment”. One night they had some performers but it lasted 30mins. Again, this is all completely fine but all of these things do not equate to a 5star rating. It’s very basic in comparison to other all inclusives. The site itself is compact, which is nice as there is always seats, sunbeds, tables etc available but it lacks atmosphere. The music round the pool and the water park is j
