This part of Kent is steeped in history, and the shopping's not bad either! Do some time travelling as you imagine what it was like being a centurion at Reculver Towers Roman Fort. Or travel the wide open spaces, as you enjoy the pristine unspoilt beaches of Herne Bay and Kent. Come here during the Herne Bay Festival and Carnival to make a great weekend of it, then travel back to the hotel for some lovely food at our Table Table restaurant and a great night's sleep.

Avoid if you can, area lack good hotels so difficult. Breakfast was poor as nothing ready and told would be 30minutes wait and not cooking some foods as frozen. Room smelt so went local Sainsbury’s and bought air fresheners. Room not set up for family 3 as booked.

When arrived greeted but a friendly receptionist. On entering room found been set up for 2 when booking for 2 adults 1 child. Advise front desk who resolved the issue. Pre booked breakfast time so they could cater for people. On arrival for breakfast found total lack of prepared food and advised would be no more bacon as frozen and other items would be 30 minutes to cook so went to reception and got a refund. Looking at food on display I would say best avoid, so Starbucks on motorway was better option. Definitely will be looking for alternative hotel brand when booking future hotels.

Staff very friendly and professional.food very good,the rooms are rather basic ,suitable for 1 or 2 nghrs ,we stayed for a week,toiletries very poor ,our main concern was for taking a shower.we are elderly and found we were unsure when standing under a fixed head shower ,no bath mat ( supplied when requested) most importantly NO HAND RAILS TO SUPPORTOUR SELVES..An accident waitng to happen.

Nice and quiet. Staff super friendly. clean room. Breakfadt was lovely. Good location. Stayed for one night. I found this preimer inn the best ive stayed in. Would highly recommended this one. We stay around the area as we vist Canterbury regularly.

Was given a room that was already occupied! Quite embarrassing to say the least. Control for climate didn’t work and had to be regulated at reception! TV kept losing signal. I requested a room near the entrance/exit on ground floor due to a mobility issue and was given the room furthest down the corridor (the last one)! Manager needs training in how to deal with unhappy customers.

Fantastic stay as always. Great service and met with a smile. Clean hotel, friendly staff and very accommodating. Tiffany, Sophie, Kim and the rest of the team were brilliant! New restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food was lovely. Thank you!!

Greeted with a smile as I entered the hotel. Tiffany checked me engaging in conversation and making me feel very welcome. Room was excellent, facilities excellent and location excellent for all links to Herne Bay and main roads into the area.

Really great stay, the service was amazing with really friendly staff!! Sophie and Sam were both extremely helpful, will definitely stay again. When checking in Jess was informative and gave me all the information I needed, definitely worth the stay.
