We had a very pleasant stay in Aloe guest house with its friendly staff. The room was a spacious ensuite. Very nice bathroom. Near the Waterfront with nice restaurants . ( walking dnstance ). Very good choice of breakfast.

The check in and out was easy. Owner stays on the property. Room was comfortable for our family. Parking available in the yard. Breakfast was adequate for a non meat eater. There were two roof leaks in the room but i am sure the owner will sort that out. I suggest that in future the owner responds to whatsapp messages. Other reviews mentioned a pre-morning yoghurt and muesli in the room and biscuit shortbread in the room, but we did not experience that.

Dear Team, thanks for the great time we had last week during our stopover in Hermanus. We felt very comfortable and really got some great tips from your side about where to go for dinner, seeing whales, shopping or doing daytrips. Thanks also for organizing the whalewatching. We had some funny discussions about rugby! One important thing is that when we had a little issue in the bathromm you immediately took care of it and when we came back it was perfetly solved. Our experience was based on a 1 night stay booked 30 minutes before arrival due to having to remain in Hermanus following a very severe storm. Everything was ready for us despite the very short notice. Very welcoming hosts; large and comfortable room; good breakfast.

Spacious, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast (Should consider serving from 7am). No loadshedding interruptions. Centrally located near restaurants and shops. Friendly service. Will definitely stay here again.

We highly recommend this place!!!! Perfect hosts and best beds ever! While it can get cold during the whale season you can nicely warm up again with a warm bath and the heat blankets. Be surprised by welcome snacks :-)

Aloe guest house is clean, spacious with well equipped rooms and a sparkling pool. Breakfasts are good with hot and cold food available with a great English breakfast. John and Lesley are great hosts, with plenty of ideas of where to go and what to see. Ideally located for whale watching and the Hemel En Aarde wine route. We are frequent visitors to Aloe Guest House and will return again as soon as we can. Highly recommended 👍
