Casa de San Pedro Bed & Breakfast

Oh my goodness, there is not enough words to describe how immeasurably wonderful this place is. The Breakfasts are amazing. We were there for over a week. Each one began with fresh fruit and a pastry, excellent coffee, and juice and then moved on to an wonderful main course. Not once did we have a repeat! And then there was pie and pastry/cookies treats available throughout the day. But it wasn't the food that was the most excellent, it was the entire hospitality, knowledge of the hosts, and surrounding area. The property is exactly located so that we could 'base camp' and travel within minutes to less than an hour to incredible places of rich diversity. From mountain hikes, to river side rambles to quaint birding hot spots to significant historical sites; the doors of the Casa de San Pedro opened to adventures. But a person would not even have to leave the property to experience serene places to read books, take a short ramble, walk a labyrinth or simply sit and have morning, evening and afternoon tea. Book as many days as possible for a stay at this little bit of sanctuary in the midst of the Sky Islands of Arizona.

We had such a lovely time at Casa de San Pedro. Patrick and Carl are wonderful. We were there for birding which is a great area. The food was delicious and they made a special New Year’s dinner. Maybe put away the cakes and pie as that added pounds to our Enjoyment.

My sister and I recently returned from a seven night stay at Casa de San Pedro. The inn owners were leaving on vacation the day we arrived, but we had a quick chance to meet and an introduction to Colleen - the AMAZING "inn-sitter." This was our first time to the area SE of Tuscon, and the surrounding beauty blew us away. We were there for birding - too late for fall migration, but since just about every resident bird we saw was new to us (we're New England folk) we were thrilled all the same. We will be going back for Spring migration for sure! And no question we will stay at the Casa. A slice of heaven. The room was perfect, breakfast amazing. The pool (open seasonally) is a lap pool which was perfect for my sis who swims laps regularly. I was happy splashing :) - The night sky, absent light pollution was worth the trip there alone. We were a bit concerned at first about the fact you have to drive about 15 - 20 minutes to get to the nearest restaurant, but it turned out we enjoyed having dinner on the table outside our door more than going out in any case. So shopped at the Safeway (they sell wine in Arizona!) and bought ingredients for salads, with cheese and bread and wine and wine and that made a perfect dinner. (Shared refrig available for foos storage.) We got a to-go pizza one night as well. Next time I think we will take advantage of the outside grilling area as well. It was just too hot to think about it when we were there this time. Perfect start to finish, and we can not wait to go back. Pictures are mainly of the walking paths just out the back gate. A view you could never tire of!

Casa de San Pedro and owners Karl & Patrick are the best! The Spanish/Mexican hacienda styl is fitting to the location near the southern Az border. It’s quiet, no houses in sight. Only the lush San Pedro River forest where hummingbirds migrate and the songs of many other birds are heard. The breakfast are wonderful, as well as the homemade pies! The pool and jacuzzi are resort level and immaculate. Close to Bisbee & hiking in the Coronado’s. Our favorite B &B! Kim & Sheryl Ptak

This place is very nice. Rooms were big and clean. There were washer-dryers available at no charge. Pool was long enough to swim laps and the water was cool even on the hot days. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The team was helpful. Nice location with good birding on the grounds.

This is the perfect spot to relax, retreat, regroup. The rooms are lovely, there are hundreds of birds attracted to the feeders and abundant foliage and the compound abuts public lands that include the San Pedro River. A delicious breakfast is served every morning--fresh baked goods, fruit salad, and then a main course! And the afternoon offers fresh pies and a huge selection of tea and coffee. The hosts, Patrick and Karl are kind, considerate and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with them.
