Red Roof Inn Helen

Room was in need of remodeling ,king bed was low not comfortable sagging in middle ,ice machine area was extremely dirty with disgusting mops in there . . Would not stay there again . Entrance door had bottom molding coming off allowing it to drag . Toilet was not operating properly . One towel one soap . Had to ask for more at desk for 2 people . Discovered in a 24 hour stay multiple roaches on top running on tv stand area . Advise never stay here . Extremely disappointed 😞

Very conveniently located. Walking distance to the bridge over the Chattahoochee. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pillows are horrible. There is a small continental breakfast with limited choices. The price is very affordable.

The absolute worst place to stay! Mattresses are broken; towels and wash clothes are stained and see through; mirrors are nasty; it’s 3:51 pm and loud music, talking and carrying on is going on down from our room! It’s goes all day and up into the night! I would not recommend this place to anyone! It’s embarrassing to say I’m spending my week here!

They get away with the price because of location (walkable to center of town if you had to) and take dogs. Rooms need attention/updating. After our stay in Helen, I would not go back. A tourist trap feel, the whole town needs a facelift, not too many great places to stay/eat in center of town. If you are coming for hiking, don’t stay in town.

It was a good location and rooms was good.. Service was the best. It was located in the middle of Helen Ga. I was very satisfied. I would stay their again. was very conveinent. very clean. Desk clerk was very nice and helpful

This has to be our favorite red roof inn. The view is great. It overlooks the Bavarian village. The staff is very friendly. Including their cat ambassadors. Lisa helped us to make the most of our visit. She answered any questions we had and was always available asking if we needed anything. Our kitty loved the room and view. We are already planning our next vacation. Thank you for making it so memorable!

The room had not been cleaned…the toilet was dirty, no toilet paper, the sink dirty along with the shower. The bed literally sagged so bad it sunk almost to the floor and I had no expectation that the sheets had actually been changed. The breakfast consisted of pancakes, bread, cereal, and “coffee” which was just colored water. Finally, outside our room was a dumpster which we were informed that we should check out the window before exiting because a black bear liked to dumpster dive every morning especially. We never could get the hotel “keys” to actually open the door because it stuck so badly. Took 2 people to open it. I would rather sleep in my car then stay here again! The only 2 positives were that our puppy could stay with us and the tv was nice.

Terrible. Only booked here because it was pet friendly. Bed was horrible with bed springs hurting you back, Trashy outside, The so called breakfast was also terrible with the clerk having to leave to go get milk. Go somewhere else. It was ok with the small dog but not for humans

Checked in and coughing woman at front desk did not give me my license back. you think they would return it to me in the room I checked into....NOT! I had to retrieve it in the morning. The walkways in the stairwell and in front of the rooms were filthy and full of cigarette butts...and THIS is a non-smoking hotel??? The place is pet-friendly so we requested a room away from guests since there was less than 15% of the rooms occupied with pets as my wife is allergic to pet hair. So where do they put us? Right next to a room with a BIG dog and a couple who were up all night and noisy. The dog barked 3 times in the middle of the night, waking us up 3 times...no rest at all. The faucet on the sink was almost falling off and could be moved 6 inches in any direction. The owners of a local store said that these hotels are being bought up by foreigners who put nothing into the hotels and just run them into the ground. This was quit e evident. BEWARE! RED ROOF INN? NEVER AGAIN
