The location is great! It’s very close to central station. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. The only con thing is the building and amenities is quite old. Overall is good! If you are only traveled to Sydney for a few day, and you would save money for fun. This is a great option!

Person who checked me in at 10pm lovely man! I went to my room bathroom towels had a black stain and the other was damp with red marks on. I brought it down and they had changed shift. The overnight man provided me with another set but refused to take the dirty ones and said oh leave outside your room and someone will collect tomorrow - no one did on Saturday morning or this morning when I checked out. Saturday morning I wanted to make a cofeee and they did not put this in my room to start with. I called down - still in a towel - they said no room service you need to make your own. That’s what I said I was trying to do but I have got none in my room - oh you need to come down we can not bring… in my towel? When it should have been in my room to start with ?? When I finished getting ready asked the reception when I was heading out for the day that when HSK does the “daily light service” they could put it in my room. Very friendly receptionist says of course and apologied for it not being there. Returned that evening - towels still outside my door just moved to opposite side - see photo- and the coffee was provided however not sure what “daily light service” means when the bed was not remaid as I purposely left it unmade and the towels on the floor were not replaced like the paper in the room says it would be if left that way. Would not stay again. 445 for two nights and was treated like this not worth it!!

The location is favourable. 4-5 minute walk to Central train/metro station. 2-3 minute walk to Light Rail. Asian restaurants are just right around the corner. Cafe is also near the hotel if you wanna grab a coffee. It would be better for the hotel to provide bottled water and slippers.

The hotel was conveniently located at a short distance from Sydney airport accessible by line T8. I was very pleased with my short stay at this hotel. Would do it again.

Staying here is very convenient! The stays is nearby train station from airport which is very good to travel early in the morning. The room is big, a bit old but still okay to stay. Easy to travel around sydney by tram & train and importantly nearby china town.

The room was not clean at all — the towel and bedsheets felt dirty. On the first day, we placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign, but housekeeping still came in for room service. Oddly, the bin didn’t even have a rubbish bag. On the second and third days, we didn’t put the sign up, but no one came to clean the room. Overall, the cleanliness was very poor. However, the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The room was clean, the bed was nicely put together however there is some areas specially the bathroom, I don’t know if it’s molds but there’s some old black thingy at the shower. The elevator smells so bad. No hot shower on second day, not sure why. And no toothbrush and toothpaste available. Handwash is almost to nothing. And towels has old smell to it, doesn’t smell clean.

Overall good but the bathroom was not cleaned properly. It was smelly and the sink was dirty as well.

I stayed at Central Studio Hotel Sydney with my sister. While the location is great and the price is cheap for central Sydney, that’s where the positives end. The room was old, dirty, and clearly not properly cleaned. Worst of all, we were both attacked by bedbugs during the night — dozens of bites all over our bodies. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. Cheap price or not, no hotel should sacrifice basic hygiene. If you value cleanliness and comfort, stay far away from this place.

Overall, I was happy with my stay at Central Studio Hotel. As the name suggests, it is in a good central location, close to Chinatown and about a 40 minute walk from Circular Quay, though there are also light rail and taxi options easily available. Check-in was simple and easy and staff were polite and courteous. I will say for a 4-star hotel that the general look and feel of the hotel was quite dated, with visible marks and scuffs in the lifts and on the walls. The room was comfortable and clean enough however.

Stayed for a night for an overseas trip. Location was excellent walking distance to Murray's bus, Central Station, theatres and restaurants. thr room was spacious and clean. Huge comfortable king bed, room could use an upgrade but it was clean so I was happy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing was theere is no shuttle service to the airport but accessible by Uber so no issues with me. Overall I'd be happy to stay here again 😊
