Excellent location in Central. Close to station and light rail and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room was quiet from the 10th floor. Lacking amenities tho. There was only one glass in the bathroom for a two person bedroom. Only soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste and slippers as the hotel does not provide. The phone in the room did not work. One of the lights was out. The guy at the reception was very lovely and helpful though.

A decent hotel near the transports and easy to walk to Chinatown, Darling Harbour or city centre. Good price and reasonable. The hotel door closes at 9pm and you will need your hotel keycard to enter the building for security reason. No bottle of water provided, but I had an okay overnight stay here.

I've stayed here several times over the years but this stay was probably the most disappointing? I will always praise the location and the staff are so wonderful. However, the rooms desperately need updating. The room we were in was pretty shabby. Scuffing on walls, bathroom door was water damaged from wet room/shower, towel rack inside the shower was rusty, the shower itself had a broken knob and we had to ask the staff at 11pm at night to come in and show us how to turn it on. However, the room was still clean and we slept well. Thankful for the blackout curtains since Central is heavily in a construction stage with bright lights outside. Besides the room itself needing updating, it also lacked some basic amenities: despite being winter, there was no spare blanket in the room (maybe we could have requested one, unsure). No wine or water glasses beside the one small bathroom tumbler. I will definitely stay here again and would still recommend it to others, but this is the first time I *really* felt like I was staying at a budget hotel, more along the 2.5-star range. Would love to see the rooms/hallways (also very dingy, carpets old)/lifts (working but broken automated voice on the floor, sounded like a ghost telling us we reached the lobby) have an upgrade when I come back next.

Great location, steps away from Central Station. Walking distance to Darling Harbour. Lots of shops (convenient stores, restaurants) around. I arrived early in the morning and was allowed to check in and received my room early. Room is spacious with desk large enough to do some work in the room. Building and decor felt a bit is dated and has some dirty parts but not too big of an issue.

The location is great. So easy to go around and have plenty of shops nearby. However, the room was poorly maintained. The room wasn’t cleaned properly. It caused us bad allergies.

The location is great! It’s very close to central station. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. The only con thing is the building and amenities is quite old. Overall is good! If you are only traveled to Sydney for a few day, and you would save money for fun. This is a great option!

Person who checked me in at 10pm lovely man! I went to my room bathroom towels had a black stain and the other was damp with red marks on. I brought it down and they had changed shift. The overnight man provided me with another set but refused to take the dirty ones and said oh leave outside your room and someone will collect tomorrow - no one did on Saturday morning or this morning when I checked out. Saturday morning I wanted to make a cofeee and they did not put this in my room to start with. I called down - still in a towel - they said no room service you need to make your own. That’s what I said I was trying to do but I have got none in my room - oh you need to come down we can not bring… in my towel? When it should have been in my room to start with ?? When I finished getting ready asked the reception when I was heading out for the day that when HSK does the “daily light service” they could put it in my room. Very friendly receptionist says of course and apologied for it not being there. Returned that evening - towels still outside my door just moved to opposite side - see photo- and the coffee was provided however not sure what “daily light service” means when the bed was not remaid as I purposely left it unmade and the towels on the floor were not replaced like the paper in the room says it would be if left that way. Would not stay again. 445 for two nights and was treated like this not worth it!!

The location is favourable. 4-5 minute walk to Central train/metro station. 2-3 minute walk to Light Rail. Asian restaurants are just right around the corner. Cafe is also near the hotel if you wanna grab a coffee. It would be better for the hotel to provide bottled water and slippers.

Best convinience locations. Other than that, not much to look forward too. Hallway carpets stinks of a “wet-dog”and not well ventilated space. Room carpet are dirty too with food waste from previous guests and dusts built at the corners. Mouldy toilet’s. Requested for a bedroom slippers, instead got a replied “we don’t provide any amenities”.

We booked a room. Requested for baby cot upon booking with tripcom but trip com persistently neglected advising hotel of request this is not one off but happens every time i book with trip com.

Usually, this hotel is an awesome stay. We have stayed a number of times on floor 6, and it has been super comfortable. This time, we stayed on the 11th floor, and the shower had awful pressure, and the sink was still dirty. Better luck next time.
