Old Sun Hotel

Well what can I say from the minute we went through the door to leaving everything was stop on, Staff nice, friendly & very polite. Breakfast was brilliant also had a couple of bar meals ( best hunters chicken I have ever had). Are room was clean,warm & beautifully decorated ( we had the gray room). We'll be going back .

We’ve eaten in this lovely pub several times and brought our family with us today to experience the steak pie. Best steak pie we’ve ever had! I had the fish cakes today which were also delicious. Beer garden is great in the summer but the county feel of the pub is also great. Only a few minutes walk into the gorgeous village of Howarth.

A recent addition to the places to stay in Haworth but a very welcome addition. From the moment we arrived the team were fantastically welcoming and did all that they could to make our stay comfortable. We stayed on the Sunday night in the Orange Room and found this to be very well decorated, comfortable and perfect for a night or so away. The hotel offered an excellent breakfast, has free car parking and is located in a perfect spot just outside the central area of Haworth. Perhaps the best thing that summed up the venue was a quite accidental event. On the Monday, after a day of steam trains and walking, we headed back towards the Old Sun to get back in the car to return home. As we approached the hotel one of the female bar staff, a young lady with brown hair, noticed us across the road. She smiled and gave us a wave and in that moment we decided that we will be back as soon as we can get a day or two free. Thanks to you all.

Myself and my husband had our dinner here today , we both had the sizzling cajun chicken and cheesecake for desert. It was really good and excellent customer service. The restaurant decor was really nice and cosy.

Outstanding Service and food. Lovely welcoming pub with great food and excellent service. The pub is clean and looks smart. We had the Steak, amazing! The peppercorn sauce was perfect. I had the prawn cocktail which was spot on, the Mrs had red pepper soup which she said was delicious. Highly recommended.

Wednesday16Aug booked a table for 17 for my 70th Birthday Family reunion...very helpful lady... proffesional and welcoming., Got a courtesy call to confirm my booking on Friday 18th August.. Family Gathered on time for pre meal drinks All staff very warm and welcoming, tables arranged to accommodate 17 plus space for great grandson, totally brilliant. Menus distributed and orders taken very impressed with variety of meals on offer , attentiveness and friendlyness of staff...All meals prepared and served relatively quickly and my family had a party meals very generous and home cooked and eaten eagerly...by 17 hungry people..Mixed ages from 8-72 in a completely happy relaxed environment...they made my day very very special Thank you people ..we will tell people.
