Overhyped and Overpriced – Not Worth It! I was pushed into booking Haywizz Resort by a tour operator who promised it was a luxury stay with a “private pool experience.” What a trap! The so-called private pool was tiny, not clean, and didn’t feel private at all. For the high price we paid, the quality and service were incredibly underwhelming. Rooms were average, service was slow, and overall it felt like a budget hotel trying to charge premium rates. Don’t fall for the sales pitch like I did. This place is definitely not worth the hype—or the money. Giving you the real review. So that you dont get trap into false promises. Don't fall for the pool look. If you want to book here then go for non private pool room.

The average rating for the Haywizz Hotel is 8.5/10. Manas sir, the manager is very friendly. Staff is very helpful and friendly too. Manager is so nice, he upgraded our room from premium to delux both time for no extra cost. Delux rooms are better than premium. This is situated in Port Blair, 2-3 kms from the Jetty. They have a bar on the first floor or you can order everything in the room. We tasted Paneer Do Pyaza, Kadhai Paneer, Dal Tadhka, Paneer Lahori. Everything was perfect in taste and portion. Although, I didn't like the chapati quality. Best is you book breakfast and dinner ***** with the room booking so that you can enjoy the buffet. Always get your breakfast packed while checking out from the hotel if you have opt for the breakfast. Don't go for taxi's or auto rikshaw's. Otherwise, you'll end up spending lot of money on conveyance. Get a scooter on rent and roam around. There is a monopoly of auto drivers. They all will charge high and same amount. Never ever try to book Nautika or Macruzz jetty for tranfer between the islands otherwise, you'll end up vomiting during your entire travel as they jumps a lot on the ocean. Always book Green Ocean jetty. Their seats are very comfortable and travel is smoother and stable. For the jetty booking, or other bookings, staff/manager will definitely assist you. The check-out time for all the hotels in Andaman is 8am.

Plz don’t book Private pool with room in this hotel. I had booked for 2 days . I was upset when I entered in the room. Pool was not maintained. Very dirty water. Ac not working properly. They don’t have any garden,Balcony,lobby. On they have pool and room that’s it. They don’t don’t give any fruits in breakfast. My worst hotel Booking till now. Better to go with Taj.

Terrible experience.. Dirty room/bathroom.. poorly lit bathroom. Towels full of lint. Restaurant stinks and house flies everywhere. AC was not working. On top of it the chlorine smell of the pool was just too much for us to take. Ended up with severe dust allergy n breathing issues. This hotel is a BIG NO from my end. One good thing about this hotel is the location.

Haywizz Havelock is a Lovely, Mid-Sized Hotel in Havelock with a Massive Swimming Pool which is Very Clean and Well Maintained. There are 2 Long Buildings of Ground plus 1st Floor built parallel to each other with the Swimming Pool occupying the entire long space in between them. All the Ground Floor Rooms have a Private Plunge Pool inside with Direct Access to the Swimming Pool from there itself. Each 1st Floor Room has a Large Balcony instead of the Private Plunge Pool which is overlooking the Swimming Pool and is very Spacious too. This is their Most Outstanding and Unique Feature. All the Rooms are Spacious, Well Furnished with Comfortable Beds, Linen, Toiletries, Electric Kettle with Supplies, Mini Fridge, etc. They also have a Plush Restaurant that serves Excellent Food, particularly Seafood. We tried their Giant Lobster and Tiger Prawns and both were very good. The Service is also Prompt and Friendly. The only downside is the Breakfast, as like in most other Hotels in Andamans, their Breakfast Spread is also limited and Typically South Indian. A Very Good Hotel to stay in while at Havelock Island and Highly Recommended too.
