Affordable Suites of America Fredericksburg

This is an extended stay facility with separate bedroom in the rear and a combination kitchen, dining and living room in the front. It is very spacious and in a great quiet location with nearby food and shopping. This is a much better option than a smaller hotel room. I highly recommend it and will stay again when visiting nearby family.

I’ve spend 2 weeks starting September 28 till October 11th. I have traveled a lot in my life and can honestly say I’ve never felt as good as I did here. The manager (Vicky) is the absolute best and treats all her guests as family. The rooms are great and the beds are really comfortable. If you are in or around Fredericksburg, do not hesitate and stay at this wonderful place. Kind regards Rob

Lets see. The room has a phone and sits on the really tiny table. Only problem its a paperweight and doesn't work. Was a good one from the 1990's. (Good thing you have a cellphone.) The room had two TVs, one in the "living" room which takes two remotes to use it. One to turn it on, the other to find a channel. To actually use the "remote" you have to be within two feet of the tv which defeats the purpose of a "remote" Also you might want to bring your own batteries just in case. The tv in the bedroom is similar and works best using the remote from the the living room, so enjoy the walk to get it. The unit has several light switch's, but some control nothing. Well maybe a couple of lights, but bring along a few bulbs as they may come in handy. If you want to cook, it come complete with a souse pan and a frying pan, that's it.. The range is a vintage 1990 electric, so plan your meals well. Coffee maker, is on its last legs but is available. Not exactly well stocked and has minimal silverware. Comes complete with Two forks, three spoons, and two bread knifes. Also two plates, two saucers, and three cups.  Has a toaster, but watch it carefully, as it burns bread or bagels,   The bathroom was clean and the shower was very nice. The sink and stand was very tiny with little to no room to put your items on when shaving or cleaning up. The hotel is in a nice area and secluded off the beaten path. Very close to a Walmart to pickup some of the missing things like plastic utensils. The beds were comfortable We were in the room on the second floor near the stairs. It seemed that was the location people liked to talk on their cellphones and also smoke, which was right outside our window. Recommendation would be to spend a little more and a different place.

Me and my husband have been staying here since November 2022. Everything is wonderful no complaints we love the manager Ms Vicki she's the best so helpful anything we need. Rooms are very clean and well stocked everything you would need as if you were in your own home. 4 burner stove with oven, microwave, full size refrigerator, kitchen sink, etc. Ms Melinda is a wonderful housekeeper. We really appreciate everything.

The suite was perfect for what we needed: space, the ability to cook, and affordable. My family member was stuck in the area for medical appointments, and we needed a place that we could afford for a longer stay, at short notice. It was important we had enough space to not feel crammed and to cook meals in the suite. It was not a fancy room/hotel, it doesn't have a bunch of high end amenities, but it serves its purpose well. The room was clean and had a nice full kitchen with basic cooking utilities. I thought the bedroom and the livingroom/kitchen were both spacious. Besides the room itself being affordable, being able to cook, based on our dietary needs, also helped us saved money. It really made the difference compared to staying in a fancier, smaller room offered at other higher end hotels without much space or kitchen. In the end, we were very happy with our stay.
