Premier Inn Hartlepool Marina

We had the most amazing time, reception staff went above and beyond in every possible way, and the restaurant team were equally fantastic. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we even extended our stay by three extra nights. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed at the end. Upon returning home, we realised my son had left his Beats headset in the room. These were a special Christmas gift, they were left on the bed, as he had been asleep with them on. He woke up late and had to rush off, so it’s clear they were forgotten in the rush. I also later realised I had left behind a pair of designer glasses. I called reception, and the receptionist was lovely and apologetic, but she mentioned that nothing had been handed in. I genuinely believe this was the case . Therefore, the only culprit is the cleaner. Despite this unfortunate situation, I would absolutely return because I wouldn’t want this to overshadow what was otherwise such a lovely experience in a beautiful place. However, I feel it's important to raise this issue as a note for future guests, it's crucial to double-check and make sure nothing is left behind, as this situation has left a bit of a sour note on an otherwise excellent stay. The hard work and dedication of the staff to make our time enjoyable deserves to be highlighted, and I wouldn't want this issue to tarnish the hotel's overall reputation.

This is probably my favourite PI as staff are so friendly and welcoming and I always get a good sleep as no traffic noise. Wonderful setting on the Marina. Great to walk about before or after breakfast and enjoy the views and bracing air. Dinner was not as good as previous trips but did not put me off. It’s Almost like staying with family. So welcoming and reassuring.

Facilities were perfect for a last minute pit stop whilst travelling. The night receptionist was very helpful and patient and did a fantastic job with getting us booked in and settled. Loved the location, especially with the view of the boats right outside our room window.

Only stayed 1 night and would have liked to have stayed longer which we will do in future. Typical Premier inn, being clean and tidy and everything you need especially the price but in this case the staff were very helpful and friendly including the Breakfast team. The Brewers Fayre next door was one of the best I've visited. The location of this Premier on the Marina is in an excellent position with good views and also ample parking, We will be going back again.

I had to change my booking. Mel on reception went above and beyond to help. Staying three nights she changed things around so I could have the same room which wasn’t easy access, as it was the only room available when it was booked. The hotel is in a lovely location on the marina. My only issue was no net or blind on the window so the curtains had to be closed for privacy on a sunny day.

We used this as a stopping off over night location on our way home from Scotland. Great location! I haven't been to Hartlepool since I was a child so this had changed so much! We were checked in quickly by a lovely lady, who made us feel very welcome. Our room was no 9 on the ground floor with a beautiful view to the Naval Museum, so we had a lovely view! The room was spacious and warm with a very comfortable bed, tea & coffee facilities which we have come to expect from a Premier Inn. If I was in the area again, I would definitely stay her again.
