place is convenient for business travellers. Hotel is clean and tidy.

Stayed here for three nights across the last week; mainly because the price was lower than other similar properties around the town. The room itself was pleasant, however the floors must be cardboard as I could hear everything from upstairs and next door! There was a wedding party in one evening which caused a lot of noise, so broken sleep was the order of the day. Reception isn’t manned constantly, so I had to get a flustered lady to find someone for me to check in. No plug points near the bed which would be an easy fix. Room as I say was pleasant, just needs more sound proofing!

I booked a family room, when we arrived l could only see a double bed, and then realised it had an upstairs which led to a single bed and the bathroom, the rooms were well appointed with views of the sea, l could not have asked for a nicer room. The breakfasts were plentiful and a very good price. my only problem is that l would have liked a lift as my sister has mobility issues, but she just managed the one flight of stairs.

Came from down south to the tribute festival. My room for a double room 7 was huge and very clean smelled great when I walked in.. My first morning the hot water didn’t seem to work in my room, but went to the lady on reception she went out of her way to let me use a suite to use to get ready for that day and by the time I got back from the first night at the festival they had sorted it. I didn’t have breakfast included but i did charge it to my room it was very nice lots to choose from and lots of coffee and juices and croissants and breads to chose from. There is lots of lovely cafes nearby but highly recommend the restaurant next door Matteos 👍 If I was in the Seaton Carew/Hartlepool Area this would be my first choice too stay at. Great stay x

Welcome was amazing.... Room lovely, so clean and fresh, we come from here and have lived down south for 30+ years....we are always blown away by the friendly north that we know and love..🥰 A few points..( Cleveland suit)... Toilet seat a bit loose and the shower is a tap feed, a wall mounted shower head holder, also perhaps a curved shower pole and curtain would be a good addition. These are only minimal glitches. Breakfast was as promised and amazing, the staff are so attentive and we would hesitate to book again. My high star rating is because we had a fantastic stay, the glitches could just be a personal preference. Still a 5 * review.

This place genuinely does the best parmos in the North east ! We visit really regularly and have never been disappointed with the food. The children's meals are also super high quality and the calvary is amazing. It's a place you could easily walk past but definitely worth a visit.

Came for a meal with several friends , most had the carvery I asked for soup as a main course , some had other meals off the menu . Everyone got served I asked if they had forgot my soup . I was told in no uncertain terms , that it hadn’t been forgotten , and I was not the only one . She told me they were really busy and I would have to wait . She told me rather loudly , every one heard and I felt so embarrassed . We ordered our sweet at 1pm , my friend had to go at 2pm it was 1.30 and no sign of it . My friend queried it , we were told again they were busy she said we had only ordered it 3 mins ago , my friend said it was 1/2 hour ago, which it was but the waitress got really got aggressive . Another customer said “we did not come in for this “ my friend said that we wouldn’t go there again , the server said “that she wasn’t bothered if we didn’t go again . The whole experience Was quite upsetting , not really professional to argue with customers in public . I go every month with friends never had a problem .

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. We had a very comfortable room with a sea view. The room and the en-suite facilities were cleaned daily to an high standard. The public rooms were comfortable and well staffed with friendly and efficient employees. It should be mntioned that all staff that we came into contact with were friendly and I include the room maids. The food served at this hotel always seemed, "Home cooked" and plentyfull. You were offered a wide ranging menu. All our meals were taken in the hotel and each one was tasty and satisfying. Breakfast, in the plesant dining room again provided plenty of choices ranging from cereals, yoghurts and juices to a full English. The only issue we would raise is that the shower over the bath was not fitted with grab rails. I consider that these are essential for the Health and Safety of any guest. As there is no lift, if you have restricted mobility issues, the stair to the upper rooms may prove a bit of an obstacle. Would we stay her again? most definately!

Service was fast and easy. Didn’t wait long for food even though it was a Sunday and really busy and people have carvery’s along with normal meals. My only gripe is with the drinks, twice we went up and asked for three pint of Pepsi Max’s to be told we only do one size which came in thin Coca Cola glasses (as seen in the picture) yet other people had larger sized Coca Cola glasses which we weren’t offered…. Don’t know if this is due to the larger ones were Coke rather than Pepsi but should have been offered. Couldn’t find any faults with the food 2 x parmos and a bacon cheeseburger and were devoured by all!
