Country Lodge Inn

Extremely clean hotel. Great location. Helpful staff. As expected for a privately owned, small town hotel - but very clean. We appreciated the small refrigerator and microwave. Beds were a little soft for us. Plenty of towels and supplies.

Nancy at the front desk called me by name when I arrived and whenever she saw me. That was a nice touch. She was very friendly and helpful. Showed me the room and made sure everything worked. This is a single floor motel and getting around is easy without stairs. The room was a bit small, but very comfortable. Had a table and chairs, couch, TV, microwave and fridge, coffee pot. Cheap sodas and snacks in the lobby. Room was very clean, well lit, including a night light next to the bathroom. Shower was warm enough, the pressure was good, and the temp was stable. The bed was really comfortable! Couldn't hear the traffic outside. Carpet could maybe use replacing soon. I stayed on Thurs and Fri nights, had 2 different rates (Totaled just over $200). There was an event on Fri and Sat so the rate went up because of that. I spent most of my time in Preston, 8 miles away. The B&B Bowling alley there has excellent food! Anyway, I highly recommend the motel. Not high frills, but very comfortable and well worth the money. Next time through, I will definitely stay there.
