Close to Pickwick Lake the Tennessee River , Shiloh National Park, Natchez Trace Natchez Valley, Daytrip between centrally located Memphis, Nashville, Huntsville, Chattanooga.
Located at Up The Creek so Be sure to Reserve Kayaks (May-September)if you plan to float during your stay. grill and fire pit also available. Decor subject to change depending on season. We absolutely love staying at Up the Creek! This past weekend marked our fourth visit (I believe) just this summer, and it never disappoints. The cabins are right on the water, offering beautiful, peaceful scenery…perfect for a relaxing getaway or family celebration. We actually went up to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had a wonderful time.The cabins are cozy, well-equipped, and just as described. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel at home. One especially thoughtful touch: Mr. Doug added a fan outside for those hot summer days…something we really appreciated!Kayaking was a blast, and keeping an eye on the kids was easy with everything so close by, though we highly recommend bringing life jackets if you plan to be near the water. It’s quiet, fun, and definitely family-friendly.Mr. Doug and the team are always accommodating, responsive, and genuinely kind. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming. We look forward to coming back year after year!

Birthday Trip!!
Amazing!! Location, views, and how easy it is to rent. Mr. Doug and his crew are awesome!! We always have the best time. We are also returning cabin renters. We will be back next year for our annual kayak trip. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful!
This property is beautiful! The view is spectacular of the creek. You get you own private balcony plus access to the great big balcony that is shared with the cabin next door. Underneath the cabin is a big patio for lounging. It is right on the creek. The cabin was very clean. Well decorated. Owner is very quick with responses. We had an amazing time. Kayaked, fished, swam, explored, and just hung out!! Me, my husband, 15 yr old, 12 yr old, and 7 yr old.

Great place to bring small children for there first kayak trip,little bear was a prefect place for the 5of us . Really enjoyed the creek an the view of the entire place.

B-day Get-away
It was my son's birthday. We (I) needed a break. This was a wonderful choice. Its quiet and very relaxed. Love every minute of the trip and will be back.
