I hate writing bad reviews but I do feel it is important for future travellers to be aware of how this hotel is ran. I will start off by saying Tom by the desk was empathetic and understanding and attempted to understand my point of view. First, be very aware of the pictures they advertise as the rooms do not match the description. The floors are dirty, the beds have stain marks and the toilets have mould growing around. When I first checked into the room, I heard quite a bit of noise and saw a tail by the air conditioning unit. When I raised this with the front desk, they moved me to another room but it was in the same area as the previous floor. I gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt and they reassured me they would be dealing with this. The next day, I saw another rat in my room and I raised this with the hotel again. They tried sending me to another room which was in the same area as the previous two floors. I tried to explain to the staff this would not do as the air conditioning units were not sealed to the wall, so the rats were able to freely climb through rooms 103, 203, 303, 403 and etc. They tried moving me to another room which wasn't in the same area but at that point I did not feel safe or secure. What upset most throughout my stay was the fact that when I raised the final concern, they cancelled my *********** reservation to prevent me from writing a review on there. I will continue to fight this and write the same review on there too so future travellers are aware. It is also worth mentioning when I first checked in, a member of staff asked for my booking number. When I gave them my phone, they scrolled through different applications which I did find concerning. If you read the other reviews on here, it might explain why they did this. At the end, I decided to check out as this place did not meet my needs and I did not feel comfortable staying there. Although apologetic, the hotel tried to offer me a refund of £3. I was quite taken back by this as I had spent a lot for this hotel and refused as I did not feel this was remotely acceptable. Please stay as far away from this hotel as possible.
