stayed in room 301 for 3 nights Room - 5/5 spacious room with 2 queens and a table and chairs for relaxation. Sound proofing is pretty good in room to ensure good night sleep. Location - 5/5 super near to Hoan Kiem Lake, like 1minute walk away. Easy access to old quarter and many other places. Amenities - 4/5 beds are comfortable, sheets are little rough. Towels can be more fresh. Toilet - 4/5 basic supply of toilet amenities, better if there's rain shower or shower curtain as the whole toilet to have wet and dry separation, entire toilet gets wet after shower for the next user. Extra - 5/5 all rooms are lift accessible, have Netflix and Youtube on TV for entertainment, wifi signal is good. Staff - 5/5 courteous and helpful. true Hanoi hospitality! Food - 5/5 lots of nearby food places.

The receptionist is so accomodating and always ready to assist. Housekeeping would everyday make sure we have fresh new towels and the room is tidy whenever we gets back to the the hotel. The room is quite old compared to the photos and no view of the lake. They don't have coffee mugs in the room but has coffee/sugar packets with bottled water. Above all the location of this hotel is awesome as it is so near at the lake and the busy streets of Hanoi.

Very happy with the booking given that I booked last minute and would have to check in at 1am. Staff was very helpful, especially in communicating over Whatsapp. They even help move my luggage to the room at check-in. I paid extra for late check out and this was transparently communicated to me when I checked in.

The hotel is 10/10 in terms of location. The roads around tend to be blocked for big cars, but you can use a two-wheeler or walk to access the hotel. If you have a pick-up, you may have to walk outside to the intersection, which is barely three minutes away. The spa opposite the hotel and the restaurant that serves coffee and smoothies are both amazing! Order the egg coffee there. The hotel staff is also polite and helpful.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The best part of the hotel is the convenient location. Situated really close to Hoan Kiem lake and being in the Old Quarters, almost everything is within walking distance. There are restaurants, cafes, massages and local shops nearby. You may be able to hear some sounds from the bustling streets, but everything gets quiet by 10pm. Staff were super friendly and very helpful young people who could communicate in basic English. All basic amenities were provided. Air-con and water heater were in good condition. Lift is available too. Do note no breakfast provided, but there's just so many great food around the corner! Highly recommended! Would definitely stay here again!

The best part was the genuine staff. Right hospital minded young people. Housekeeping lady was kind of like a mother going around cleaning and helping us to have a comfortable stay. View of the lake from the room was really cool as well. We stayed in this hotel for a week and really enjoyed our stay. Newly opened hotel hence all the amenities are new and properly functioning. We highly recommend and would definitely come back

Great location, I can walk around the Old Quarter easily. Cozy room and new furniture. Receptionist was friendly and humorous. I’ll come back in the future definitely and try staying at higher floor.

Had a great stay at La Mandarina hotel! Location wise, it was literally just walking distance to almost all of the tourist spots/cafes we visited so we were able to save up the money intended for transpo - yey for that! Also, extra grateful to Mr. Nam, who’s the receptionist. He kept in touch with us even before we got to Ha noi. Very accommodating & friendly, thank you again Mr. Nam! Will definitely stay in La Mandarina again!

This hotel is overall very good. I’d say the only negative was the use of the only lift is hampered by the cleaning staff leaving it full of bedding etc. and the balcony is tiny but overall very clean and very nice staff.

The room is really designed uniquely with a charm, unlike a normal typical hotel room for this price you may. Very friendly and helpful staff that can speak English. As it is by the Old Quarters, do not expect complete silence until probably after 10pm... If anything that can be better, is to not have smoke smell along stairways or in the building itself.

The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—right beside Hoan Kiem Lake and in the heart of the Old Quarter. Yet, the street where the hotel is located is peaceful at night. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and surprisingly spacious for the price. But what truly makes this place special is the service: every staff member we met was incredibly kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
