Even though they gave us a free upgrade, the room wasn’t cleaned properly and could see hair from the previous guest.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in Hangzhou (if you just need to sleep there and leave you luggage). It's located in a very photogenic area, lots of shops and cafes are near. The hotel stuff is very polite and nice. The room is clean and cozy, with all the necessary things, including cups, tea, and a kettle. The lake is in a walkable distance. And near the hotel there are several stores where you can by some traditional clothes. I really enjoyed my stay, will definitely come here again.

During my stay at Haoyi Hotel, I was truly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. They consistently went above and beyond their duties to ensure my comfort and satisfaction — not just within the usual expectations of hotel service, but with a genuine warmth and attentiveness that made me feel right at home. The location of the hotel is another big plus — it’s perfectly situated near many of Hangzhou’s most popular tourist attractions. With Ding'an Road Metro Station just a short walk away, it was incredibly convenient to explore places like West Lake, Qinghefang Ancient Street, and Hangzhou Museum. Whether you're traveling for leisure or culture, Haoyi Hotel offers an ideal base in the heart of the city. I wholeheartedly recommend Haoyi Hotel to anyone visiting Hangzhou. A great place to stay! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. Convenient location with nearby attractions and metro station. Would highly recommend👍

The hotel rating isn't what I expected. It is definitely not a 4 star/diamond. I would rated it a 3 star/diamond. Trip.com platform seems to have problems when it comes to the ratings of the hotels in China. Some have higher stars but the facility turns out to be sub-par, some have lower stars rating but the facility turns out to be surprisingly better. The room is standard size, clean but outdated. Age shows in its wear and tear over time of use. Location was great. city walk was right in front of the hotel entrance. metro train station is about 4 mins of walk. service was good. Overall, It would be more accurate if the hotel was a 3 star/diamond. I found another hotel just a few steps down for the same price, LOWER star rating BUT facility was much newer which makes this stay a bit disappointed.

The front desk is friendly and helpful!! And the hotel location is accessible to the travel site!

The room was clean and very satisfactory, but the soundproofing is not great (especially if you are in room closest to the lobby) although its negligible and personally did not bother me too much. The hotel staff were hospitable and extra service for the room upgrade (no window to with window) was very much appreciated. The washing room facility is a bit lacking, as there was no instructions and only two washers & two dryers, which led to quite some waiting time. Overall for its price, I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is really clean and nice. The service is so good. Highly recommend for you if you plan to go to Hangzhou. The destination is so convenient too. I will go back to this hotel for the next trip to Hangzhou.
