Lemon Hotel

-Cleanliness was perfect! My room and other rooms I saw were perfectly clean. The corridors, common area, showers, toilets and powder room were perfectly clean. -Front desk was welcoming and served lemon water upon check in. -Facilities were nice. There are powder rooms at every corner so guests don’t have to walk all the way to the three toilets and three showers which felt like a maze. Laundry, dryer and garment steamer are available but they might need a china number to access unless you can pay the staff to pay it for you and there’s a laundry drying area at the verandah. There is a fridge and two microwave at the common area. I love their lemon water dispenser at the lobby. -Amenities wise, towels, slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush have to be purchased from the vending machines in their showers, but shampoo, conditioner and bodywash are free. Several cold and hot water dispensers are around and paper cups can be found in the shower, kitchen and powder rooms. -Location wise, there’s many food eateries throughout the whole building (one very affordable eatery opens 24/7) and many more at the streets around the building. There are two MRTs was about 10mins walk away. -Only drawback was that the air conditioner in my room was not cold at all, even after the staff adjusted the temperature from their system. I asked two other guests and they said the same. Opening the door like some other guests made my room less stuffy but my corridor was at the end corner so it was not as cold as the central corridors. The common room was also not cold at all but not hot either. Overall, it was okay and bearable, not stuffy, just not cold. Showering cold helps a lot too. I still slept comfortably at night without blankets and the room was slightly cold during mornings. Price wise, can’t complain since my priority is cleanliness, privacy and price only. But one person said their room was too cold, and another one said their room became cold after the staff adjusted the temperature, so maybe it depends what room you get/negotiate. -Photos of the window room have mirrors but mine didn’t have it, sadly. -Price wise, totally worth it. Can’t meet service this perfect at such low price elsewhere. Would definitely come back!

Lovely hostel. Great location, very centric. Rooms are very clean and the staff is really helpful. Bathrooms and shower rooms are really clean and well equipped. I’d totally recommend for solo travelers or people that wanna stay in HZ for a few days.

We booked the family room. It was spacious enough for 4 people. The toilet and shower room were very clean and comfortable. The only thing was that the toilet was a bit far from our room. Another not so good thing is that there was only one elevator for the entire building, so we had to wait a while to enter and exit the hotel. Nonetheless, our overall experience was very good and we would definitely consider staying here another time. The price is reasonable and the location is good. We were very satisfied.

I stay at one bed dorm without window room, size 2x5m as showed in trip.com apps. At first this dormitory hotel gave a good impression: its hv many toilets and bathroom, all in quite clean condition, because always have standby cleaning service on shift. But at my last day stay, i don’t know what happen, the aircon in my room not cool at all, even i’d report through hotel’s wechat account, Their amneties is perfect: many hairdryer in bathroom, don’t forget to bring your own bath slippers when staying here. There provide coin washing machine, and there are infuse water, hot/cold water, microwave and refrigerator in the lounge. The only thing that bother me is the carpet inside the lift to hotel is very dirty, but maybe it’s because they share lift with Xintian art&craft garden building.

Really clean and warming place to stay for solo travellers. Location is very near to Xihu which is a plus point. Food around the place tastes good too

A very new hotel. Very clean and bed also very comfortable. About 10-15mins walk from the metro station. There are a lots of food around and also can walk to West Lake around 15-20mins. If want to go other attractions places it is very easy to take the public busses around. Toilet very clean. Cleaning lady and man always on standby to clean. The room might be a bit small but everything is there. Bed is very comfy and soft. The centralised aircond system is very good so you have good ventilation although you are taking the bunk bed type. The common area also very big. Only 1 cons is the wall maybe a bit thin, if there are people who kinda selfish talking loud at the corridor you will have to bear with it and if happen your next door neighbour is snoring you might heard about it but all this can be settle by the earplug. Overall its very good and nice hostel with the price.

Stayed in smallest room for the low price but it was great. Bathrooms were incredibly clean and well-equipped. Location perfect for exploring city

Seriously one of the best affordable hotels that boast an incredible level of quality that I've stayed throughout my two-week long solo trip in China. Extremely well-maintained bathroom, rooms are very cosy and clean as well, not to mention the staff are extremely helpful. Definitely would recommend!

The service is 1000000 points. The staffs were so nice and friendly, the bathrooms and restrooms are always clean and comfortable.
