Super 8 by Wyndham Hammond

I hate to leave a bad review for a place that is clearly trying, and struggling in this economy, but the website is very misleading, We paid an exorbitant amount for what we got. They are remodeling (👍🏼) but, no breakfast (contrary to what was advertised) and, in the room that was supposedly finished, the door wouldn’t lock, the bedding was old and not very clean, the floor wasn’t clean, the furniture was grimy, and though some things were updated, it felt questionable. It was more what you would expect from an outdated Motel 6, than a $200 a night place. Alas, it was a Friday night, and other places were fully booked. On a positive note, it is conveniently located right across from a Cracker Barrel, and the water was plenty hot. The receptionist was friendly, the towels new and clean, and the bed comfortable. I won’t book here again, especially for that kind of price, but if all you need is a good night’s sleep and a hot shower, and don’t mind the less than clean amenities, it might be worth $70 or so.

The front desk service was very nice, and very helpful. The housekeeping was absolutely fantastic, and our room was was in excellent condition. The restaurants are in walking distance, and Walmart is right down the road. Hammond has a lot to offer

Good plase to stay had a nice time n would pick them to go back to anyday thank yall for all yall did for me while i was there n im still there thanks cany wait to come back yall did a good job one of the best

Horrible!! Clean it up!! What you advertise, have that! Clean the rooms, have working appliances! I would never recommend this to anyone! I'm disappointed in Wyndham, I've never seen a Wyndham hotel in this shape!

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in never in my life have I ever been told I need to upgrade my room to a double bed in order for my two and four year old to swim the whole staff team was rude and disrespectful I will never spend my money here again not even that I asked for tow days she charged me for one then argued with my husband saying I only said for one they are liers and just the worst highly don’t recommend at all

At check in, the staff gave me attitude after I asked a simple question. The entire stay, no one gave me fresh towels(good thing I travel with my own) or made the bed each day which should be standard each and every day. No one gave me the wifi passcode. Wasn't really sure there was internet but I do have my own. The room was clean and property was well kept.

Stopped here traveling thru LA. Floors were dirty (blood on the floor). Towels were stained. Towel rack was coming off the wall. “Breakfast” is not worth even considering. Train sounded like it was coming thru the room. Spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else.

The room had dirty towels in bathroom, floors were nasty, blood stains on the walls, bugs and spiders all over the place, beds were uncomfortable so much went to the car but did not feel safe due to the people Coming in and out all night strung out checked out Early and they would not refund me for 1 night will never stay again

This place has roaches spiders in the rooms. We found a very sharp piece of metal in our room that could be classified as a shank. There were stains on the beds and I don’t mean small ones like they just missed them. You could clearly see the very large stain. People are sitting/standing outside drinking, smoking and arguing with each other and just being very loud in general. The furniture was falling apart and rusted that was in our room. The toilet was making a high pitch squeal if not being flushed. The entire room looked as if no one had actually cleaned it. The vanity was separated from the wall and looked like it would fall if you sat anything on it. It took me nearly 5 minutes to get the attention of the lady at the front desk because she was so engrossed with her phone. I checked in and as soon as I saw the room my family and I went to eat and looked for another hotel. As soon as we found one we checked out.
