Baymont by Wyndham Columbus/Rickenbacker

Everything was fine until I got woke up to bed bugs at 3am. I went to the front desk and showed them the pictures and they said they’ll give me a new room for the night and a refund before or after checkout the next morning. Just checked out and the front desk wanted to basically say I was lying even with the proof of pictures. Said that they went to the old room and had video of checking every inch of the place but found nothing. But had to make it clear they did find chips in one of the beds. Mind you we do have a 2 year old toddler. 😅 We flushed the bug down the toilet right after finding it. Still haven’t gotten that refund. Have to call when the manager is there later today to see if I even get the refund!

Both beds are broken in my double room horrible to sleep on Broken Springs. None of the staff seems to speak English well or if they do they don't like to act like they do. They want to force you to eat breakfast in the breakfast room and not allow you to even leave the building with a small plate if you have not ate yet in the mornings seems kind of controlling I understand not bringing food to the room but leaving the building should be a different thing.. fridge constantly drops water onto all my food I put in it. Broken **** pipes outside on the sidewalk.

This hotel is horrible. Paint peeling in room and bathroom. Dingy sheets and towels. Drain in bathtub was so slow the tub almost filled while trying to shower. Insufficient lock on door. Phone in room did not work. No iron or ironing board. Staff rude and unhelpful

Front desk manager was rude to my fiancé and wasn’t willing to accommodate us with service. Proceeded to use restroom while they discussed the issue and there was lo and behold a semi dead roach. I tried to diffuse the situation and the front desk attended was still rude.

this is just a few but there were roaches everywhere! i had the jacuzzi suite and the mirrors had so many water stains and the ceiling had so much dust. when i went to ask for a new room i was offered another room, but i felt filthy after being there for only 2 hours ! worst experience i’ve ever ever had with a hotel. would not recommend AT ALL

Staff is very friendly. The rooms are in poor condition and are riddled with roaches. There seems to be mold growing on the AC units too. Cleanliness and sanitation of the rooms overall is very poor. Most of it just seems really old and like they didn’t want to repair damages from wear and tear. Would not stay here again

The breakfast was a bag that had a hostess cup cake, a great value granola bar, a banana, a mini water bottle and a mini Sunny D. No restaurant like it says. Stains on walls. Broken fixtures. Stains on sheets. Limited channels. Cheap hotel. Gross smell in hallway. The elevator shook a lot and made my kids not want to ride it. The last inspection says 2019 on the paper inside the elevator
