Villa Viva Hamburg

This is a brilliant, budget hotel. I actually can’t believe the value for the price paid. Rooms are clean and comfortable and really quirky. Staff so helpful and friendly - I had a really minor issue which was sorted out immediately beyond my expected resolution. The rooftop bar is worth a visit. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfectly situated with in walking distance (10min) from HBF Main building. Easy checkin process and very pleasurable stay - the staff friendly and helpful. super comfortable beds and pillows- over all the facility very clean. Loved the roof top bar facility. Very quiet - had good nights rest. The camping ground was very affordable and you get value for your money.

Enjoyed our stay, particularly liked the great wifi, air con and roof top bar. All staff were very friendly and helpful, especially reception staff who allowed us to check in early. Bed was large and comfortable and shower was hot and powerful. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Didn't hear any noise except the fire alarm going off at just past midnight which meant we had to leave our room and stand outside in our nightclothes for about 20 mins on one occasion. Room was cramped for 2 adults, especially a male over 6ft tall. Bathroom was tiny. Not a lot of restaurants or bars nearby and 15 min walk from main train station was a bit seedy as it passed nearby a compound for homeless and adults with addictions. We were approached by one of these individuals one evening as we walked back to our hotel via the steps on the way to the hotel from the train station. Hotel seemed to be geared to the younger market but we still enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous and comfortable stay in Hamburg. The team at Villa Viva is so welcoming, the space is fun and their coffee is amazing! The rooms work well with the space available and are super comfortable! The rooftop bar offers beautiful views and a cool space to hang out

Hi there! My stay in Villa Viva was quite nice. The vibe is really worth-mentioning specially at the rooftop. I was on the tiny room and it was quite cute and cozy one. Highly recommend. The Bar is amazing and we had an extremely nice business party there at the rooftop and the bar. Central Station is 8 mins of walking distance and the vicinity is calm and nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Viva; the rooms were cosy, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were silent even though the hotel is along/near a busy road. The staff were also super friendly and helpful! Would totally recommend and stay here again if I visit Hamburg again :-)

Very nice breakfast, with interesting food proposals. Very nice rooms. Some commodities in the bathroom are missing (ex. shower cap). Attutitude towards defence of environment, which is very nice. Comfortable position because close to the train station, as well as city centre.

I had an excellent experience at Villa Viva Hamburg. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing top-notch service. When I mentioned my claustrophobia concerns about the assigned room, they quickly upgraded me without any issues, which was truly impressive. However, upon arrival, we encountered challenges finding Villa Viva Hamburg due to an imprecise pinned location on our map. Despite our attempts to call for directions, we unfortunately didn't receive a response. After persistently searching and circling the area, we eventually located the place. Overall, despite the initial difficulty in locating the villa, my stay was very satisfactory.

On the positive side, this hotel is adequate and clean. It is walking distance to Hamburg central train station. The staff are friendly. The room is very basic, includes no complementary bottle of water, no fridge, no cups for drinking or brushing teeth. It was also very small. The place has somewhat of a youth hostel vibe. I had been expected more as it cost me almost EUR 200 per night.
