Mitsis Alexander the Great Hotel

Mitsis Alexander the Great is a beautiful 4-star all-inclusive resort located in a peaceful, green area of Kriopigi, Halkidiki. It offers direct access to a stunning, sandy beach with crystal-clear waters. The all-inclusive service includes a good variety of meals and drinks throughout the day. Rooms are comfortable, and the friendly staff provide warm hospitality. It's a great choice for a relaxing beach holiday in a serene setting.

The first and the last time i'm booking in this hotel it's horrible, the foods are disgusting, the check-in was late, the staff is unprofessional i have been in so many hotels but this one i don't have words to describe how sad I'am ............

The perfect beach , the hotel is in good location and a lot of trees , flowers . The all stuff is nice and polite . Thanks to Dimitris and Jorgos from reception . If you want to go out Kalithe , Afitos are near .The food is good . The room That we stayed was nice, big with everyday cleaning . Again thanks to all stuff

We loved our holiday ...... the hotel is run by amazing helpful staff, on arriving late evening the receptionist gave us a welcome bag of water, fruit juice, fruit and Feta and olive salad rolls.. the location is stunning, rooms clean (and cleaned every day), food plentiful (maybe repeatative) but fresh, buffet style with servers, (tell them if you want smaller potions as they were too generous and I didn't want food waste), lovely pool bar and beautiful terrace to have lunch and dinner (paid extra). The beach is stunning, with plentiful sunbeds and umbrellas so no need for the 7am rush to reserve. Warm calm seas and nearby watersports if you wanted. €10 euro taxi to Afytos for stunning fish restaurants looking over the sea. ..... maybe not a typical 4 star but they didn't disappoint us.

Positive ;Location, sea and nature are excellent.The staff is good.Negative;rooms are neglected.The refrigerator is insufficient, even the ice you put in it melts.We made a reservation and payment as 3 adults, there were two beds in the room and a seat where a child could sleep. As a result, if the refrigerator in the rooms and the 3rd bed is renewed, it is definitely a place I can choose again.

A letter to Dimitri (hotel manager): The hotel could be outstanding with improvements and then it would reach its 4 star status. 1 Food: Not enough variety, very little fish dishes. Food warm not hot and portions served by waiting staff are ludicrously huge, especially at breakfast time. 2 Health and Safety: Steps coming down from the Kassandra Bar to the lower level are lethal, it needs a handrail. Glass panels aren't very secure and possess a danger. Pool needs better signage of depth, it doesn't have a shallow end and is a risk for toddlers who might accidentally fall in. 3 Food and Drink: The Kassandra bar is in a superb location but is empty every evening. Beer at €6 a pint and a Barcardi and Coke at €14 aren't cheap enough to entice people to stay. Guests usually drink in Kyropigi village or stay in their rooms. Food at the pool bar was limited and once again the drinks were expensive. Make more people aware of the half price Cocktail offer between 6-7 at the Kassandra bar, it's excellent value. 4 Al La Carte restaurant: Please get more staff to cover the tables. There's only one person taking orders and serving the food. We saw many guests leave the restaurant because they were sick of waiting. The food is excellent and guests need to eat here. Thank you Dimitri for sorting out a few issues we had. You definitely need more help and assistance, we felt sorry for you having to shoulder all the problems that arise on a daily basis. Finally I must thank the following staff for outstanding service, they are a credit to the hotel. Maria (reception), Viki (dining room) and Joshua (Al la Carte restaurant).
