Absolutely amazing and pretty place, the staff behavior was very approaching they had good skills of communication, i absolutely had no issues checking in. The room was neat and tidy, smelled good, there was no disturbance faced for the total time i stayed, a quiet place it is i must say. Anyways the shower area is not that good but the washroom is clean and tidy too. Overall i had a great experience would totally recommend it to friends and family if they are going to visit haldia, and i myself would prefer the place too if i visit again.

The stay was quite nice. The complimentary breakfast had a good spread. Rooms were clean and staff was very nice and helpful. The cost is a bit high though. All in all, a good place to stay in haldia.

Well property is like a resort but not a maintained one. All old theme furniture and proof of termites on wooden structure. The BIG thing is there is no exhaust in the washroom. Just imagine where is the basis infrastructure. Rooms were big but old fashioned, breakfast spread was also limited and somehow service is also not paralal to other metro cities. In my opinion 4 k/night for a deluxe room is always on very higher side, no toiletries were offered like shaving or dental kit. I mean why you are charging 4 k/night for a place like Haldia without basic amenities. No tissue paper also in the room which is again an ignorance.

The place is awesome and the decoration of this hotel is so amazing. I am so impressed. The room is clean. You can also enjoy nature's beauty and there is a swimming pool. Thank you.

Really it is a great experience to stay at hotel the golden retreat. Their hospitality, cleanliness, behaviour of support staffs etc are unique and excellent.

A resort type hotel spread over a large area has well maintained garden and gives a good look at first sight. The suit we were staying was quite big with a bed room and a seating room and the bathroom was very large with two basins. All expected amenities are there. However the furniture would do better with upgrading and refurbishing. Food was also good, however spread at breakfast needs to be improved. We last stayed here in 2004 and found that even after 20 years, the hotel has been maintaining its standard. Staff members were cordial.

It’s a nice and spacious property but the interiors needs some renovation
water leaks in the bathroom mattresses are way too hard
overall staff are very friendly should try the bar while staying
