A very beautiful and relaxed place to stay for holiday.

A nice relex hotel.With nice views from Lake Ashi. Breakfast is served but not much choice.

It's near Hakonemachi port and the bus terminal of line H. The room is large with a high ceiling and lake view. The washroom is a bit old fashioned. There is a French restaurant, a teppanyaki restaurant and a casual bar restaurant. Car park in front of the hotel.

Air conditioning temperature cannot be adjusted, we went in April, it was cool outside and there was only heating option on the controls, no cool air option at all. Had to open the windows to get cool air in, still it was too hot inside. Wasn’t able to get a good sleep. Rude encounter with a staff which I believe was the manager. He was downright nasty and arrogant. I would totally avoid this place, his actions was disgusting. He spoke very limited English which was understandable, however using rude gestures pointing and shooing off guests is such a rude thing to do. Would never go back because of this incident.

Hakone Hotel was a wonderful experience, with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji from the hotel’s premises are simply awe-inspiring. The rooms themselves are an exquisite blend of traditional Japanese aesthetics and modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and have a high standard of cleanliness. The hotel’s onsen, fed by natural hot springs, is a rejuvenating sanctuary. The therapeutic waters offer a serene escape, especially after a day of exploring the region’s natural wonders. The staff embodies the epitome of Japanese hospitality, warmth, courtesy, and attentiveness. Their dedication to ensuring every guest’s comfort and satisfaction elevates the overall experience, making you feel truly valued and welcomed.
