Service was extremely warm from the moment they welcomed us into the hotel. Room was nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing with the sea view!

Beautiful hotel on the beach with private onsen and shower on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Also large public onsens available. Short taxi rides away to tourist spots.

We booked this hotel for a special stay for our Christmas Day abroad and it did not disappoint. The rooms are cozy, spacious and quiet with very comfy beds. We appreciated the entry way with the closet and shoe rack. We also appreciated the shower with great pressure, the large sink counter and the Japanese style toilet. There was also a good amount of toiletries provided. We had Japanese style pajamas, slippers for the room, sandals to go around the hotel in and even slippers specifically for the toilet area. The room has a large TV and you can connect to it with an HDMI cable or screencast but we could not figure out how to screencast. The hotel primarily caters to Japanese so the important stuff was in English but the little things like the remote control and temperature control were not. We booked our stay with the buffet dinner and breakfast and for our stay it seems that all the greatest hits for Japanese cuisine were out. For dinner they had a steak grilling station, a BBQ scallop station, a sushi chef, crab dumplings and all kinds of accompaniments. For the dessert they had an array of tasty sweets but we enjoyed the macarons and Hokkaido ice cream the most. The breakfast was equally fantastic with a miso soup station, all kinds of sashimi, black pork dumplings, fried chicken and all kinds of crowd pleasers. There is a juice station and a coffee machine that makes all kinds of drinks so we were very pleased with the meals. We appreciated the plates and small dishes that allowed for small portions so we could pretty much try everything. Some items at the buffet did run out and these were specifically the small dishes - it is worth going early for breakfast and dinner because some items are not replenished and I found quite a few of these very delicious! There isn't much around the hotel other than a 7-11 and a small botanical garden across the bridge but it is definitely a hotel meant to stay in and enjoy. We went to the onsen at night and in the morning and really enjoyed the outdoor bath which was sea facing. At night you could hear the waves and see the stars and during the day you could enjoy the beach and mountain view. The onsen baths have a variety of temperature pools and saunas and good bath products. There is a machine that dispenses a few pop flavours, cold tea and mineral water in the change room. There was a variety of self care products available in the change rooms as well like toothbrushes and razors. Our room was very cozy after our bath and we found that the temperature for the hotel was possibly centrally controlled and not adjustable according to Google translation. It was set at a balmy 24 but we did figure out how to turn it off and got a comfortable night's rest. I wasn't a big fan of the hard toothbrushes that were provided mainly because the toothbrush used a coating rather than toothpaste which makes them truly single use. The hotel offers quite a few amenities outside of the onsen area but the onsen was the highlight for us. They have a lounge area with lots of seats looking out to the sea near the front desk, a separate restaurant from the buffet restaurant, a souvenir shop that sells drinks too and luggage storage. We aren't sure if there are multiple floors with laundry machines but the one laundry room we did find only had one machine so this might not be a hotel to do your laundry at. The hotel is easily accessible from both the train station and airport. From the train station you can take a bus or the tram which would take about 30 minutes and from the airport there are some dedicated busses that will take about 15 minutes. The bus station and tram station closest to the hotel is Yunokawa Onsen. This was a great stay for us and we felt one night here was perfect. There is a lot to see in Hakodate and had we stayed longer we would have chosen a more economical option but this truly was a special treat for us.

was booking this as 30th anniversary trip, email the hotel weeks in advance to have dinner preference... was totally ignored! very disappointed!

非常好的一次體驗，這次很幸運預訂到了帶私湯的日式房，面向大海邊泡温泉邊欣賞美景。晚上的自助餐也很棒，特別是和牛很好吃。酒店服務也很到位，離一文字很近，如果去函館，湯之川渚太子酒店是非常好的選擇。

温泉酒店好大，酒店分配我顶楼層(10楼)房間，厕所与浴室是乾濕分離的，我房間有露台，但窗不能開。呢間酒店碰不见外國人，以本地日本人居多。餐廳十分大，算安静，食物算多，新鲜手握壽司師傅似乎很用心製作食物。食物擺放得很精緻。我7:00去到餐廳，原來大部份人都差不多食完，而食物似乎沒有再添加。我很欣賞 BF 男士露天温泉，面向草地及大海，看到及聽到有浪泊岸聲音，晨曦時有另一番風味。不過，酒店距離电車站, Daiso 及超市有7-8 分鐘路程，附近Daiso 有大量賺價男女装衣服可選擇。如果選擇搭的士，由JR 火車站到酒店只需2000円左右。

房間佈局合理，設施緊湊，麻雀雖小五臟俱全，自助早晚餐都還算不錯。但是三月的海景似乎也沒什麼可看的，另外酒店的外部窗户也許久無人清洗，海景房的景色更是無從談起。酒店的温泉就像個大澡堂，設施比較陳舊，所謂的海景無邊温泉實在有點拉誇，廣告修圖嚴重，總體性價比很低！

去了日本很多次，第一次感受到這麼過分的服務和收費。 背景：因為九州突然地震，我們在地震後第二天就要出發日本，有點害怕餘震和特大地震，在出發前一點臨時預訂了北海道的行程，預訂的比較匆忙，出現了一些疏忽 1、酒店位置：離函館站和市中心比較遠，當時看中了海景和温泉才訂的，出行衹能靠打車。這個還好，離有名的拉麪和omakase很近，也挺好。 2、設施：預訂的房間是帶私湯的海華海景雙床房，在9層，風景很不錯。但是講真私湯看上不太像温泉水，和洞爺湖的乃之風比起來是不一樣的，湯清澈見底，水温也不高。而且私湯完全無遮擋，只有金屬欄桿，也就是進出私湯的時候海灘上的人是可以一覽無餘的。第二天也看到海灘上有人打着電筒在走。 3、服務：重點來了，去日本這麼多天，只有預訂這家酒店的時候人數選錯了，選了兩個大人，忘記加小孩。在入住的時候接待人員全程未提三人入住有問題的事情，也給了三杯welcome drink。我自己也完全不知道自己訂錯人數，第二天去吃早飯，那個前台刷了我們房卡的時候才説這個房間衹能住兩個人，要上報給主管。 到了下午四點多，攜程來電説酒店已經和我説了第一天因為小孩，加了26000日元給我們特殊入住。第二天不能再住這個房間了，因為最大入住人數是2人，要給我們換房，並且要額外加80000日元的換房費。聽到這裏我就驚呆了，這個酒店我是以7600人民幣訂的兩晚，第一天要加小孩的費用就算了，第二天除了已經交了的房費，還要加80000日元（也就是4000人民幣），這是瘋了嗎？我要求攜程客服和對方溝通，我們無法接受這個價格。攜程一個小時後客服再次來電，説了説了以上一模一樣的話，我直接火了要求攜程溝通完再來電。 五點半我們回到酒店，酒店什麼經理帶着一個老外翻譯來房間溝通換**宜，説不用加八萬了，兩天衹要加五萬二，等於是加了小孩的消費價格，但是還是要換房間。 我們為了不影響我們旅行的心情，加上有孩子在，我們就同意了。結果換房換去了價格便宜很多的的日式吸煙房，進房間的時候還是有一些味道，樓層比較低，在五樓，海灘上的人可以和我們在陽台對看。所以第二天我們都沒有泡温泉，洗澡也是關着燈洗。 這次入住體驗真的很糟，雖然預訂錯人數是我們的問題，但我們還是接受了交額外的費用，並且換了房。回頭想想還是需要把這家酒店的服務情況如實點評一下。 攜程給了一些補償，但這個酒店實際入住算下來4000多一晚，和日常價格差了一倍，還不讓退訂，真的很離譜。

預訂的私湯房，非常愜意。從JR函館站打車到酒店2000日元，從酒店打車去函館機場也很近，具體多少錢忘了反正也不到2000日元的樣子，酒店對面就有便利店很方便。步行到熱帶植物園大約10分鐘。酒店服務人員很棒，一下車就有人來拿行李，是個日本妹子很嬌小，主動幫忙提我的29寸箱子真的很不好意思呢～其他服務人員也是彬彬有禮。強推私湯房，聽着海聲泡泡温泉釋放心靈～期待下一次的函館之旅～

吃完飯的時候發現旁邊的日本人都在瘋狂啃蟹腳，但我們在餐廳找不到，問了服務員才知道，蟹腳要晚餐四點前和酒店預約，否則沒有，早上自助餐的品類一般，但可以選靠海的長桌坐，還不錯。靠海的入户温泉景色還是不錯的。房間的燈光昏暗，感覺整個酒店都比較冷清。
