Pullman Haining

We stayed one night at the Haining Pullman while we visited Leather city. It is a beautiful property and the superior twin room was excellent. The restaurant had an excellent value buffet which was both Chinese & western.I couldn’t find a news channel on the TV system but the WiFi was adequate so we played with our phones. We used to live in Discovery Bay Hong Kong so it was great to see the theme in the decoration. Strongly recommended! It is near a food street where there was an Australian owned restaurant serving great quality food & inhiyse brewed beer.

For starters, I stay at this hotel for many years when it opened up. to my knowledge, this hotel has not had any renovations to the rooms since it’s opening. The carpets are in dire need of replacement, all the electrical outlets do very little to hold even the simplest of charging adapters. They all fall out and you have to use a book or something else to hold the adapter in place. For a foreigner, it is very difficult to find English-speaking staff, when checking in. The breakfast buffet is very limited as I suspect they are maintaining their costs due to lack of gas. The location is great for a small city as it is centrally located near the shopping mall and also some eating places nearby. It is not my choice of hotel in the area now as there is a newer, larger and much cleaner hotel nearby. However, on this day, I was put in a situation where I had to stay there because the other hotel was completely sold out and had been for several days. My recommendation for this hotel is they spend the much needed money for some renovations as it would be a good time since they do not have a ton of guest at the moment. They could section off certain floors of the hotel and start the renovations if possible. It is not a horrible stay just not to the level it was years ago.

Nice hotel, but too little variety for breakfast

Hotel it’s one of the best in this city . Location also very convenient and with clean and modern environment. Public areas very cold , especially at the breakfast restaurant.. suppose to be warm but unfortunately most of guest need to keep the coat on . Not suitable to eat dinner at the hotel due for the same reason . Pity .
