Good basic room. Quiet and clean. View out the back window is stunning, as is the rest of the town. This is not a luxurious resort: it’s a comfortable place in the center of town with good access to the Mounties, bakery and other features of HJ, as well as a restaurant.

It's got comfortable and clean rooms... which was appreciated after a long day on the road. It was also quiet. They appear to have recently been painting and generally upgrading their establishment. The owners are pleasant and helpful. I will be making this my go-to motel in HJ...

Brother and myself stayed and loved the location and access! Also, the Owners were very friendly, hard working and kind. There is excellent access to north, east and south by driving. A professional hiker, climber, scrambler dream! Endless opportunities! Kluane would be considered very remote for most people so come prepared!

A dump! Run down old motel. Poorly equipped- no hair dryer, no shampoo, mismatched worn out towels. Noisy- can hear your neighbours and the highway traffic. The carpet is old and dirty, curtains torn and don’t close and walls are dirty. Painter’s tape around the bathroom lights has been there for years I expect. Shows the lack of attention and care. Obscenely expensive ($200) for the worse place I think I’ve ever stayed in. Next time, if I couldn’t find somewhere else in town to go, I’d drive through to Whitehorse. Pros- could get Netflix and Prime on the TV and I didn’t wake up with bug bites. View of mountains and neighbours junk from rear window.

I had 2 reservations at this hotel. Both reservations were for 2 beds. The first night was fine got there early enough and had dinner at their restaurant. Was sufficient.
The 2nd night we got in late and the room had 1 bed and some sort of cot which was NOT acceptable as any form of bed. The owners response when I let them know what I thought of the bed was that they were “full”. Yes and my reservation was a part of that! My comment back was that if they had a reservation and they had that “cot” in a double room, they would not be pleased either. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

First night stay was nice, 2 queen beds. Tonight there is 1 queen bed and what I would consider a cot. Hard as a rock and pillows are terrible.

We were able to pull our truck and trailer in to park. We checked in without incident. The property was we would expect.

Absolutely the worst place to stop trying to eat. The food "if you can call it that" was horrible. Ordered pizza, was served a pizza with a wet base, raw, took a bite and that was enough. the topping on the pizza consisted of some strange minced meat. Ordered toast eggs and bacon instead, this is how it was served... The chef cannot cook in any way and should have been kicked out.

First time staying here and will stay again. We liked everything about this small place on the Alaska Highway. Nice room, firm bed and nice sheets. Nice view of the St. Elias mountains. Hot water and nice towels. Good sized room. Angel and her son Austin were great hosts. We have booked for next year when we travel north to the fabulous Yukon.
