Beautiful boutique hotel on a hill, overlooking lush nature and the ocean. About a 10 minute drive down. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. Great service and wonderful ambiance. We got the villa with private plunge pool, which was an amazing experience. Love how the resort is build around nature.

It’s a beautiful property with fantastic views of the ocean and jungle. Good food and clean and tidy rooms with fantastic views. The staff was fantastic so as the management. I would say it’s a beautiful stay I would come again and would recommend to any one who travel the south part of Srilanka.

We had an amazing stay at Tabularasa. Everybody was so welcoming and the service was great. Everything we asked for (spontaneous floating breakfast, very late check out) was arranged for us without a problem. The view from the pool is amazing, the rooms are super clean, big and pretty and the hotel is surrounded by nature wich is super nice. The food was delicious and the restaurant was really nice with a view on the big pool, the jungle and the ocean. Our highlight was the floating breakfast in our plunch pool suit, it was so amazing with the view into the jungle. We even saw monkeys playing in the tree while having breakfast in the pool.

The pool itself is really well looked after, and view sublime. Equally impressive was the culinary experience. Each meal was a celebration of flavors, thanks to the great cook! The food was consistently exceptional. The breakfast was a daily highlight, offering many yummy things. However, what truly set The Tabula Rasa apart was its people, and at the heart of this exceptional team was General Manager Dilin. Dilin’s presence was felt throughout our stay. His genuine warmth, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence elevated the entire experience. From personalised greetings to thoughtful recommendations, Dilin made it clear that guest satisfaction was his top priority. It was evident that he leads by example, inspiring his staff to deliver the highest level of service. His dedication to creating a welcoming and memorable environment shone through in every interaction. We went here in August 2024 (off season) for 4 nights. The staff took good care of us. The manager was pleasant and helpful. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained with gorgeous views. The location, while picturesque and amidst wilderness, is a bit remote so getting to the main road was a bit inconvenient at times. Overall, we enjoyed our time and the only small addition to this top class stay would be temperature control in their plunge pool since it was uncomfortably cold using it.
