We are afforded a "Stop Light" intersection on 1st - during the busier times of the year this is a huge positive in the OBX because those access points have a stop light with a crosswalk to cross N Croatan which can be busy during peak times. Kitty Hawk Bay is due Northwest from our Cabin. We highly recommend you head down that way to the Bay Ave Walking/Biking trail for sunsets at night, but also at anytime during the day because the Bay Drive trail runs along the bay for several miles in each direction. You can use this for walking, running, biking. It also leads to the Avalon Beach Kitty Hawk Bay Boat Launch where you can launch boats, jetskis, canoes, kayaks, etc. Additionally, if you take the trail South, you can actually walk or ride bikes to the Wright Brother's Memorial from the back way along 1st Street.The garage has a secondary fridge for guest use. It is also equipped with at least 6 bikes - sometimes up to 10 for guest use. Also in the garage are some lawn games including corn hole and bocce.STRICT NO SMOKING & NO PET POLICY - If you are found to be smoking within the home or bring a pet, there will be $500 fine.This is a family home - we use it to vacation and visit family in the OBX. The master has a queen bed and balcony overlooking the courtyard and the second bedroom has a twin daybed with pullout trundle. The third level features the main living areas with an open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as a half bath and front and backside balconies.Guest accessYou can access all areas of the townhome except for the locked owner's closets.Other things to note:Our unit does not have an assigned parking space. Up to 2 cars can be accommodated, but one car must park in the driveway in front of the garage or in the garage and the second car must park in a space designated "Visitor."
