While the name "Royal De Casa" may evoke a sense of grandeur and elegance, my personal experience with this establishment has been far from satisfactory. I had arranged accommodations for two rooms to host my guests, who were traveling with their children and had specific requirements regarding their hotel stay. After reviewing the hotel personally and having a look at the the website my guest.were pleased to proceed with a booking at Royal De Casa. The reservation was confirmed, and a token amount was duly paid to secure our stay. However, merely one day before the scheduled check-in on March 28th, 2024, I received communication from Mr. Ankan Rajguru Phukan, the Manager of Sales & Marketing. He regretfully informed me that due to an electrical issue in Block A of the property, our guests would not be able to check in as planned. Initially, I accepted this explanation; however, further investigation revealed that there was more to the story. It came to my attention through a reliable source in Kaziranga that Royal De Casa had chosen to prioritize a corporate event over existing reservations, leading them to cancel multiple bookings—including mine—without adequate notice or compensation. This experience has left me deeply concerned about the reliability of this establishment. Therefore, I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering bookings with Royal De Casa. It is regrettable that such an impressive name does not correspond with dependable service or customer care. As for myself, I will certainly refrain from recommending this hotel to any future guests; moreover, as of now, no refund has been processed for our canceled reservation.
