I had a remarkable experience during my stay at Sterling Hotel Guruvayur. The visit was both relaxing and enjoyable. My room was consistently clean and well-maintained, featuring comfortable furnishings. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always striving to meet the needs of the guests. I was consistently welcomed with warm smiles. The hotel's proximity to Mummiyur Temple makes it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers.

Our experience at Sterling Guruvayur was truly delightful. The service provided was outstanding, and the cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, with the linen and bath towels being flawless. The quality of the food was also praiseworthy. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the General Manager, Mr. Biju, for his assistance and for ensuring we felt at home during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Guruvayur.

This place is a mixed bag. The property scores very high on the location. The only item that beats that rating is the staff courtesy and helpfulness. One of the best services that I have seen. I got misled by the Sterling Tag, assuming that it would be a resort. It is just a functional high priced hotel in a temple town. No other frills. The ACs and power outlets/ lamps need maintenance. I am sure someone from the property would ask for details - but they should be on top of such issues. The food is a big disappointment. It is one of the standard buffets with predominantly North Indian Cuisine. I was expecting domination of Kerala based cuisine, only to find that it wasn't. I cannot understand the "Punjabification" of the menu. Fortunately, there are a number of smaller and less expensive restaurants at walking distance, to try the local cuisine. Another disappointment is that they didn't have 24 hour service for basic items - being a temple town, early morning darshans are common and I would have loved to have a filter coffee at 5 am. Ofcourse, they have a kettle with the instant coffee and tea bags in the room. Overall, a mixed experience. Choose this if you are here for a day or max two. Don't book longer stays.

Positives - Staff is friendly. Even though they are severely understaffed, the staff on duty is helpful. Negatives - AC in room does not work - Needed 3 visits to get some cooling but not good enough - Mini fridge does not work - Not enough power points in the rooms - Because of the understaffing, the restaurant is woeful. We had to wait like beggars in queue to get some breakfast. - The useless member helpline does not even have the courtesy to call back when customers call them. - Parking is inadequate. A multi level car park is needed if there are about 100 rooms, only 10 car parks is total foolhardy. - Orders are messed up by room service - 2 coffees and 1 tea becomes 1 teas and 1 coffee.

Our daughter wedding guest we’re staying at sterling for two nights. Excellent hospitality n services. The breakfast had variety and was tasty. Hygiene n cleanliness was also high class. Special thanks to Biju Raman for making our stay pleasant n hassle free.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Temple.The hotel offers comfortable accommodation and good vegetarian food Rooms were neatly maintained and hotel staff were really helpful.The restaurant was amazing delivering hot and delicious food

We want to place on record our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the hardworking and dedicated staff at Sterling Guruvayoor. We are grateful to the manager Sujit who has trained and motivated his team to take utmost care of the guests. A big thank you to Akhil, who has guided us on how to get the best darshan at Guruvayoor and provided key navigational details. The breakfast was delicious. Kudos to the chefs Sujeesh and Shiju for accommodating our requests even beyond the call of duty. Special thanks to Anitha, every smiling and cheerful who made us feel right at home. We cannot forget how Anandu and Fahad facilitated in resolving a tricky situation caused by a third party. They went out of the way in helping us have a graceful way forward. God bless you all.
